What if abilities changed the appearance of a Pokemon?
Found this fun trend and I had to give my baby Absol a spin! I feel that what I achieved is more vibes/character based than a "proper" variation but I guess different abilities could also manifest this way.
Either way, it was fun to draw these! I miss just doodling and drawing simpler things.
“Curious happenings have been spotted atop Mt. Coronet…”
This painting was done for Eclipse: A Dark Type Pokemon Zine! I was very happy to be given the opportunity to illustrate one of my favorite Pokemon 🖤
If I lived in the Pokemon world… well, I’d probably want to travel around a lot and see all of it, but I know exactly where I’d want my home base to be: Fortree City, in Hoenn. Not only is it a city of tree houses, but it’s flanked by two of the most beautiful routes in the entire Pokemon universe: Route 19, with its waterfalls, and Route 20, with its reflecting pools.
(PS you should totally tag this or respond with where in the Pokemon world you’d like to live.)
Color-Fall #3
Absol has the ability to foretell the coming of natural disasters. It lives in a harsh, rugged mountain environment. This Pokémon very rarely ventures down from the mountains.
The reason Alolan Ninetales guides people all the way down to the mountain's base is that it wants them to hurry up and leave.
POV: You are a (very) lost hiker, and while the mountain goddesses don't exactly bear you any ill-will, they do want you off their mountain ASAP thankyouverymuch
has this been done yet
I have been possessed with the concept of an Encanto/Pokemon crossover where basically everything is the same except the Madrigal family’s gifts are accompanied by an associated pokemon.
Explanations/rationale under the cut:
Been on a Sidney drawing spree and had to draw my fav pairing of him that isn’t me and him
