New Zahara Art Goal
Are you tired of seeing me post adoptables? Frustrated with the YCH flooding your +watch feed? Do you wish I’d do more Original Art of characters like Albinus and Zahara? Maybe Fan Art of Krystal, Raphael or Renamon?Donate to my ‘Make More Art’ Fund here on Ko-Fi! Using a crowd funding method will allow me to create more art that appeals to more than just one person ( Like commissions do) and will help me create a more cohesive portfolio of work. (Instead of the really random assortment of miscellaneous furries that it has been.)
Donate as much or as little as you like! The donation will immediately give you a copy of the current Sketch Idea with no water mark (150 dpi) and when the GOAL amount is met I’ll complete the art and everyone who donated will get a 300 dpi copy of the full color sketch.
No one likes paywalls so the finished art will be posted on my galleries for all to see, but with watermarks and at 72 dpi.
Thanks so much for your support all these years. If just 50 of my 5,616 watchers on FA or 6,601 on Deviantart donated 1 coffee each a month, I could reach this goal!

Thanks for reading this. I’ve been doing freelance art since the early 90’s. I love creating original art and doing commissions. In 2015 I started having incredibly painful joint issues. After seeing a bunch of doctors and specialists I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.
Without getting into the nitty gritty it has severely impacted my ability to be creative and draw. I’m no longer able to work at the pace I once could. It’s been exceptionally devastating emotionally and financially. I don’t want to give up on art as a hobby or as a profession. I also do not want to ask for help without giving anything back. So in exchange for your support I’m going to be creating two special images for those who donate to this fund raiser. If we actually make it to the max funding, I’ll make the two images available for everyone on my web galleries at a smaller size. Folks who donate will get a copy at 300 dpi resolution suitable for printing without watermarks.
I’m looking at several models ranging from $500 (XP-PEN Artist22E Pro 19 inch) to a Wacom Cintiq 22 HD at $1,699.95 . I’d be happy with the XP but it doesn’t play well with wacom drivers so it would be more complicated to use with my current set up. So I’m shooting for the moon as using the Cintiq would be easier. I am hoping using a pen display over my Intuos will make drawing easier and thus allow me to be more productive.

I know this is a terrible time of year to ask because everyone’s money is tight, but life rarely smacks you when it’s convenient. Our 13 year old former pound puppy Ginger is at the vet right now and was there all last night and will likely be so again tonight. She has fluid in her lungs and an enlarged heart. We don’t yet know the root cause, it may be genetic or due to old age or some other underlying factor. We’ve only had her for 4 years so before that we don’t know much about what her life was like.
I’m about as broke as one can get right now and my Mom is footing the bill for my own medical issues, my sister’s up coming wedding and now this.
I hate asking for money without giving something back so I’m hoping a new illustration will be a good trade.
For every donation or bid of $20.00 or more, you will receive a full 300 dpi resolution copy of this 8.5 x 11 image of my Zahara character with some cute sphyx cubs. It will be either linked or emailed to you once I’ve finished it up.
At the moment we have no idea what the ultimate cost of Ginger’s vet bill will be, but I’m imagining its going to be around $500 after her two nights of staying and the x-rays that have been or will be done.
Because I’m only asking for 20 per person, I won’t be starting on this until I’ve gotten at least $100 dollars in pledges and I won’t charge any one who bids until we’ve hit the 100 beginning target.
