The Nydam Boat is a clinker built rowing boat that was sacrificed in Nydam Moor/ Bog (Sønderjylland) around 340 AD and was discovered and excavated in 1863. It was an ocean-going war craft that could carry up to 45 men as a fast troop carrier.
The Nydam Boat is on display at the Archäologisches Landesmuseum in Gottorf Castle in Schleswig, Germany.
