I have strep. I texted my supervisor at like 6:30 AM to let her know I couldn’t come in and would be going to urgent care.
Tonight, I get an email from the daycare for the teachers about how everyone needs to contact them by 6 AM, etc, etc.
Did…did they want me to come into work suspecting I had strep throat? Am I supposed to be able to see the future? If I shit myself five minutes before leaving for work, am I supposed to just leave anyway? jfc these people
(I wear an n95 mask to work daily, too. so no one can say I’m not being cautious)
