I came out to my family as trans recently. Only my mum dad and sister, so there’s more family to come out to but I feel a lot lighter now. I feel more free.
It went well, which I recognise is a luxury not all people get. My mum and dad even suggested some new names for me. I’m very lucky to have the supportive friends and family that I do, otherwise I don’t know what I’d do.
