Little NeoTrin doodle - mostly because I had an idea for a t-shirt, and then I needed a model for it. But I couldn't just draw one, because that would be mean, so here's the pair of them in interesting t-shirts.
Cinema needs more depictions of romance between two powerful and wonderful entities that have a mature love that's rooted in mutual respect, admiration, and equality. There just isn't enough of it, and that's very unfortunate.
Given the romanticization of mediocrity, I honestly wasn't expecting so many to agree with this take. We don't settle for subpar love stories anymore folks. If it isn't extraordinary, we don't want it on our screens—and hopefully not in our actual lives either.
And it remains true after 26 years. Cinema STILL needs such depictions.

i love how neo is so scared during the very first unplugging process. and he turns towards the only person in that room he has known the longest and double checks to confirm that she has done all this too. it's so sweet. especially trinity's "mhm"
