Here is my interpretation of Atepomaros a Gallic who would be at the origin of the city of Lyon.

It is a legend told to us by Plutarch,
two Gallic nobles Atepomaros and Mômoros, guided by an oracle, undertake to delimit the foundations of their future city which they establish on a hill.
That’s when crows seem to come from all directions and perch on the surrounding trees.
Mômoros who has augural knowledge sees it as a happy omen.
This is why Plutarch says that the meaning of Lyon formerly Lugdunum, that is to say “the city of Lug” would in fact mean “the hill of the crows”.
This legend is surely false and is totally copied from the legend of the foundation of Rome but I like it :)
