I’m not original, Conner’s death and the consequences on Tim’s mind is a trope used a lot by fans (Teen Titans 2003 #37).
This version is the one where Tim creates the exact clone of Superboy except that the accelerated aging process would have been interrupted by the premature death of the child. I wanted there to be consequences for Tim’s actions, there is also a tragic irony where neither this baby nor SB will have a childhood.
