Goth Rant because I am annoyed.
I am so sick and tired of certain “goth,” YouTubers misguiding their audience and making them think it’s fashion based when it’s fucking not.
I know I am not a traditional goth, I am a Mall Goth, but at least I know Goth is not a fashion based subculture.
It’s a lifestyle and a music based subculture!
Goth is not Killstar hauls, thirst traps or makeup tutorials.
Which are fun things don’t get me wrong, but it really annoys me whenever I see “goth,” youtubers do fashion/makeup hauls when goth is more than just fashion.
Goth is not some people being edgy for 2 weeks to piss off their parents.
Goth is not Taylor Swift or Lana Del Rey wearing black lipstick for a day.
Goth is not some alternative influencer posing in a Killstar outfit on instagram or TikTok.
Goth is not a mainstream hashtag.
Goth is not a fashion brand.
Goth is a lifestyle.
Goth and Gothic are 2 totally different things.
There is a label for those who don’t listen to goth music and just dress up and that is darkly inclined!
You are not a true goth if you don’t like Goth Music!
