this was ages ago but i recall you mentioning seeing this article from wired (https://www.wired.com/story/the-hard-left-shooters-leading-a-gun-culture-revolution/) on a wtyp podcast and being pretty frightened by it before you had read it. if you haven't already, i hope you take the chance to give it a look over. i thought it was a pretty heartfelt piece that meditates on the role of journalism in the trans community. it reminded me of how awful things were in the weeks following the kirk assassination and how... nothing they have been since.

don't get me wrong, conditions continue to worsen in much of the us and uk, especially for youth, but it also was a reminder on just how little these people even care to do the pogroms. maybe you'll agree. look forward to hearing if you read it.
