Something YJ got right with Cissie regarding archers is the scene where she splits an arrow and some guy is screaming “SHE DID A ROBIN HOOD!!” because as an archer I can confirm that’s exactly how we act and precisely what we yell when somebody does that (followed by tears over the loss of 1-2 expensive arrows) we really are all there to make the same 5 jokes and that’s ok <3
(This week on my overly specific comic nitpicks) This accuracy overrides the fact they’re claiming Olympic qualifying distance is 25m, because I truly can not overstate how laughably different that is to the 70m Olympians actually shoot.

Honorable mentions to Connor Hawke because he seems to be able to live without it, but rocks it anyway. 80’s Bow because it’s technically the same guy but diff look. And to Hanzo Overwatch because he’s also doing half-shirt, but vertical. And I think that’s very admirable.
Arrowette is so often forgotten, that anytime I see her actually appear in art I go absolutely feral. She's probably my favourite yj character after Tim, but it's impossible to truly obsess over her with so little depiction of her character, especially in canon. That said, I saw a fanart posted recently that made me think of this, so I'm talking about Cissie's costumes!
As iconic as her 90's mini skirt and crop top are, could she maybe wear pants? Just once in a while? We know her mom really influenced her costume, and she retired from hero-ing before she really got any distance from her, but if she had, (@packagedglass I'm adopting your hc) she should get to try softer colors, true archers clothes, or something more like her civvies, just clothes that feel more like her, rather than what her mom forced her into. Give her a loose top and pants covered in pockets, filled with arrow attachments and extra strings and anything else she could want. Let her try one of Robin's extra masks, or Cassie's old goggles. Let her try darker colors and practice being stealthy. Let her be her.

ALSO (archers note rq) if she’s shooting in it, loose sleeves like hoodies or baggy shirts will catch on the string, negatively impacting her shot. If you’ve got loose sleeves, somebody usually tells you to try to clip it back on your bow arm.
With that in mind, I’d love to see post-retirement Cissie wear more baggy clothing as a little detail to show she’s not constantly in sporting or vigilante mode. She loves archery but it doesn’t have to consume her life, and her wardrobe reflects this.
