Introducing Rory Hart. She will be the matriarch in my go at the lovely Legacy of Hearts Challenge. Rory has recently moved to Newcrest from a small town for her teaching career and longs to find her happily ever after.
What’s a young girl whose just arrived to a brand-new place with a fresh degree and her trusty side-kicks (Penny and Sophie, respectively) by her side? Why, take out a giant loan for your dream house, of course!
[Confession: I did use a banking mod for a loan in order to move her into the house I literally designed FOR her, but I wanted there to be consequences. Also, I have to enjoy their surroundings aesthetically in order to connect with them!]
Bills are quickly becoming due, so Rory gets a head start on work by tutoring a student online, but it doesn’t go very well.
Rory [not pictured] left for her first day on the job, and Penny waited faithfully by the door the entire time she was gone.
Thankful for her first day of work falling on a Friday, Rory uses a relaxing Saturday morning to grade some homework.

Rory enjoys her fireplace and prefers the record player over the TV. She hasn’t watched TV once since moving in, but I’ve frequently had to turn off the record player.
Sophie is adorable.

Weather dampened Rory’s afternoon plans to walk Penny, so she found herself a blind date on Cupid’s Corner for an early dinner. He’s cute and she feels bold.
