Music for seya. 25SS - SEASON #16 TOTSUKAWA
This piece of music was inspired by the impression of the village of Totsukawa in Yoshino County, Nara Prefecture, which is the setting for the seya.25SS collection.
Two years ago, I was approached by a fashion brand called “seya.” based in Paris. At that time, I was told that they were going to make clothes with the village of Totsukawa in Japan as their theme.
A few photos arrived from seya. a while later. The impression of the air drifting through the mountains, and the impression of the simplicity and murkiness.I felt the discovery of a fresh, small sensation through her perspective, as if it were reminiscent of the wind blowing through and the texture of the earth.I began composing this piece of music as if to pull in the impression from there.
I actually visited the village of Totsukawa in Nara Prefecture last May.The air was humid, but the scenery was clear, and there was a chorus of frogs and the sound of the rain falling at night.
Please enjoy this song.Thank you so much.

Perfect meditative ambience. Great for a rainy day, taking a relaxing nighttime bath, or just placing yourself in 16th century Japan in some gnarled forest by the river. Thou!MirrorWitch

A fantastic compilation/extras album, I love a lot of these tracks, they sound really good, love this. Though I really wish the CD version was here as Elusive Sunshine is one of my favorite Caretaker tracks ever. rod

“Do you still dream in water?” she asks.
He nods—“only when it rains inside.”
Their words drift, slow like signal loss,, soft clicks between heartbeats.
A drone hums overhead,
its shadow stroking their faces.
“Are we free now?” she whispers.
He laughs, small, broken. “We’re just less afraid.”
They share one headphone,
listening to the city’s pulse—
loops of breath,
echoes of what could’ve been
“Hold me,” she says.
“I am,” he answers,
“in the static.” magoski
