so did all these ppl. and well it does. the url’s deliberate cause i thought mf being motherfucking was really funny. but it also stands for m/f.

why is broppy the icon?

because it’s the only ship icon i have saved to my computer that i didn’t draw and isn’t a heinous crackship. if it was my own art i’d feel so embarrassed. do you understand. also i love broppy soooooo much. do you understand. now that the matchups are out i’m taking the L gracefully but they’re still the bracket mascots. forever and ever

does m/f include this non-binary character?

yeah m/nb and f/nb is included. masculine presenting/femme presenting. why not. don’t fuss over gender too hard <3

why is this definition loose?

so i don’t get a headache. love is love. also it makes terfs really mad

why did you set [x] up to die?

look. i’m being graciously objective about all this. if i were any bit conniving i would’ve fabricated every matchup so my favs would be forced into the finales. but i didn’t. i used the high vs low method (1vs64, 2vs63, etc.) and this is where everything landed by the numbers. sorry. or not sorry. i don’t care that much. i don’t even think i’ve properly tagged a lot of these. i’m very offline

no guarantee i’ll run this again even tho i’d love to cuz so so many good ships had to get axed for the final 64. i mean if i have the time i’d be down to do it but if someone else wants to take the reigns go ahead

do you have any ship biases with these 64?

yes i do i’m not telling u how i voted tho <3 u can ask me about the ships i like that did NOT make it in. cause that was agonizing on my end. but it’s fine i’m normal and coping about it

why isn’t x ship included? (no longer relevant but keeping this up so u guys know how the nominations were. sort of.)

joke/semi-serious answer: write it in. real sorry i didn’t include it but the original list has 75 ships and it took us AGES to come up with them. i didn’t even include some of MY favorites. write. it. in.

other answer: i’m vetting ships, yeah. this is a ship-positive space but i’m doing an automatic veto on harry potter ships (because this is not a space for terfs <3) and any m/f ships where one character is proven to not be attracted to other genders (ie, lesbians, gay men, aroace ppl. if the attraction is one-sided for a reason that can’t reasonably be changed, i may have to axe it! if it’s a headcanon tho i’m going to squint really really hard at you.)
