A little story: This is a milestone when comes to my art. If you’re familiar with my artistic output you very much know that all of my works - I don’t even count isolated exceptations over the course of more than decade - are depiction of individual animals, occassionally pairs or groups, with or without decorative elements.
No scenes - interior or exterior - no environments at all. No history behind the artwork other than history that pet owners has in their hearts related to their relationship with the beloved pet.
As long as it’s nothing wrong with that and I really enjoy drawing pets as well as I’m honored when a owner came to me to make a memorable artwork of their deceased pet, I really wanted to do something more for a very long time. I wanted to tell a story, and I wanted to make a personal art. Because believe it or not, I’m not making personal art for a couple of years already and it’s just insane.
So here’s one.
The ghosty cat is drawn in memory of my beloved Mr. Cat, who passed away back in 2022.

Hey, take care of yourself kiddo. Go drink some water, stretch a bit, take a deep breath, listen to that song you've been feelin lately, watch the clouds go by, say hey to the moon, or just feel the wind on your skin. The world is shitty but we can do our best to make it otherwise. I've watched people pick up their pieces and toss them to the wind just to blame it on others when they end up losing it but I've also seen people on the edge settle down and find a safe area that makes them happy. I've been doing my best to align myself to good vibes and kind gestures because that's what my idol did. She raised me to look at others with love yet hold the fire I need to burn away the filth and bad connections in my life. It's not easy and honestly probably never will be. The thing is though, I've found people, on and offline, that make me wanna try and prove the world wrong. So I'm gonna prove the world wrong and make it as kind and lovely as I can. Maybe you can find the hope to do so too.
