Don: Gokudou Suikoden

A great Yakuza anime, compared to many!

Its quite forward, little bickering around and not much dead-time with long dialogues of depth so to speak, its very fast forward, alot of action, violence, so straight up Gangster/Yakuza in all aspects!

I give it a really good score because it checks every box intended when it comes to a gangster story anime.

The dialect spoken throughout the anime is almost exclusively Yakuza slang speak, when you listen closely to it you will hear mostly how it does not sound like the average animes in comparison, they definetly nailed that one to stay more true to Yakuza language, enough ... to be compared to Yakuza movies like Outrage (Takeshi Kitano movie, absolute masterpiece) and movies of the same genre.

Id imagine it would be hard for an average speaker to subtitle this to english, but both OVAs are currently in production of an accurate english subtitle, so for whoever wants to see this awesome anime with english subs, please check the discussion/topics on this anime's page, OVA 1 with subs should be up and running on youtube any day now.
