| These last two episodes have really felt like a reward for sitting through the vamp drinking fest that this 2nd cour has been up till then, it feels so good seeing the humans taking care of these parasites. I can tell they’re trying to paint the humans as the monsters now, but let’s be real… the vampires marched up on THEIR village, THEIR home, and preyed on THEIR people, the vampires deserve everything they’re getting now, the humans are just defending themselves from monsters that wear their loved ones’ faces. And every time I feel an ounce of pity for the vampires, I look at poor Kaori, seeing her like that made me tear up, she’s lost her mind and only has her dog left, I just wanna give her a hug man, she’s proof alone the vampires don’t deserve sympathy. And Ritsuko is still being an absolute trooper, I hope she resists till she dies, she’d be a great example to everyone before her who turned, you don’t need to give in to killing your fellow man, because you’re already dead after all. I also gotta give it to that bearded guy Tomio, I’m glad he’s joined Ozaki in being a badass. And that’s it for my Shiki binge for tonight, I plan to hopefully finish this tomorrow, it’s finally started getting really good here near the end but man it has been a painful journey getting here (at least in the 2nd cour), I’m ready to see how it ends. |
| Wow, what an episode! Ngl, I’m a bit disappointed we didn’t get to learn more about Chizuru’s past before she died. Maybe in the next episode or the special they’ll cover it but I highly doubt it. |

| Chizuru is dead. You love to see it :] I would've preferred to have her burn in the sun, but having her go out like this is good too. Hoping Megumi goes down in a similar way. It's pretty satisfying to see the villagers finally start to fight back against the vampires after they've been living under their noses this whole time, especially when they're begging to be spared despite killing who knows how many people up until now. It looks like Seishun is going to betray everyone else though, and I really don't get why other than to save himself. |

| I hadn't fully formed an opinion about Sunako until now. But for the moment, I must say I find her despicable and worthy of rejection. For some reason, it's only now that I'm starting to feel sorry for how the village has ended up. While it's not completely lost, it's almost there. Finally, it's great that people are rising up against the vampires! |
