I eventually took it over when Nami wasn't able to connect to the internet much, and so started trying new things. Seems to have worked, as soon after that we built up a solid core of regulars and became the most active club in MAL history.

I joined to troll moe and SoL fans and probably to sabotage club administration, but that was more than a year ago. Back than, I had never seen such a friendly and welcoming community. Seeing how nice everyone was I started chatting more, became a regular and decided to help this wonderful club with whatever I can. I became a volunteer in the first Moe competition and after that took the role of an event manager for the café. My original intention for malefiscent deeds dissapeared suddenly after getting to know all these wonderful people here :D

This is an interesting topic you started, so I'll let it stay (be interesting to see people's reasoning), but I generally do prefer that people chat either in the comments or in one of our chat rooms (Skype & IRC)

Fun times. Some of my earliest memories were Haru's wacky antics. I joined because Robo, Ark, and elk were very pleasant people. A lot of other places on the site were incredibly negative. Instead of talking about what they did like, most conversations were just /a/ level shitposting. And before you say it, no, I wasn't nearly as bad as the people I'm describing. :^)

Later on, I decided to help out the club with general support, IRC, Steam and Skype groups. I've had a fabulous time here and is one of the best clubs I've joined since my time on MAL from 2006.

Hmm, well, if I'm not completely remembering things wrong I had joined MAL not long ago and were in the Neighbours Club. Don't remember if I were active there or anything, but elk invited me into Namine's. And that was it pretty much, was active for a good while and now I've been pretty inactive for a good while as well, other than managing the Steam group and adding people into it.

Met some lovely people here though.

No, it is a somewhat active, Haganai themed club. However, much of the original core membership of the cafe came from there, which is why it's listed as one of our sister clubs

Well, let's see...

When I first joined MAL around Sept., I was completely in the dark for a good month trying to figure out this site, was stuck making petty comments in the actual front page forums section of the site, and it was awful and uninteresting. Explored a bit and found clubs, one called Monia Cafe. Had a blast there, made a few friends there and Namine was in that club as well and decided to post a message there about "Namine's Cafe" Which if you tell me was something basically like Monia's Cafe, and it was criticized in that cafe as such, but nothing harsh just some harmless questioning. Anyways, yea I immediately joined that cafe seeing as I had nothing at all better to do. Decided to stick around seeing what it would become and it was a wasteland early on. But yea, I came here on a whim hoping for exactly what we got. I could've gone back to Monia's cafe at anytime, as I was looking for something with active chat, and Namine's provided that and then some. Elk Vol LAOG Ark Mil World, the Dragons, Im too lazy to look back at the name he mentioned I think Toma was it, Sub, Lom, Wim, Jishi, I could list everyone who is epic, but everyone is epic and its too much and Im too lazy and I also forgot names so damn if I did. Im ready for the hazing, but yea that's it.
