Well, the episode was simply amazing. It was silence in the library all over again expect with Weeping Angels and Amy, which makes it instant WIN !
Oh and the angels, oh god the angels.
I knew there would be a lot amongst the statues, but I didn't expect

Also bob ;_;.
best of it all was the "Never put me in a trap" line from the trailer, which makes it WIN+++
Can't wait for next week.

I agree, best episode so far in serie 5.

And remember, don't blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Good Luck.

I wonder why it didn't feed off those guards? its not like it really needed to lure them in deeper. they were alone when it called for them and its method of killing doesn't leave any remains. except the last guard of course, if it wanted to talk to the doctor then it would have needed to kill him.

also, if they attacked an entire civilization by sending them all back through time, wouldn't they have simply warned themselves about what was to come and stopped the angels from ever arriving? or evacuated the planet before hand? or sent for help (probably from the Doctor since he seems to be good friends with several people from that civilization)?

I'm also a bit curious as to why they didn't just take a sledgehammer to all the statues while they were looking for the angel. unless they were worried that it'd take too long and the ship might explode or something?

btw, I thought angels fed of potential energy, not radiation?

have humans changed so drastically that not one person in 6 billion bothered to explore those ruins for 400 years? honestly it seems a bit far fetched, its not like they were in any way hidden.

it was a fun episode (in spite of constant freezing from dl problems on the streaming site I was using) but its got some pretty big plot holes. I especially loved River's reintroduction ;)

sadly, the don't put me in a trap line was ruined by trailers : (

Well it seems the statues where dormant for a long time so people could have explored the ruins and been fine. Maybe the ship radiation is a kick start to get them going again? Like an adrenaline shot?

that's what it said in the show, but it had to have taken awhile for all the energy they absorbed from an entire planets population to start running out, they should have still been active when terraforming began if the population's had time to grow to 6 billion.
