In my case, I would mention Sora no Otoshimono, as I remember really liking the designs of this anime when people used images of it as avatars or signatures in forums I used to browse before I got into anime, I think I was 12 or 13 back then.
I would also mention Renkin San-kyuu Magical? Pokaan since I think I was 10 or so (Maybe 11? Or maybe younger?) when I found a +18 flash game about of it's characters, and that was likely one of my first contacts with pornography, I guess.

This feels like saying you really liked some shit like a fucking book you never actually even read, just because the cover looked cool to you. What you’re describing isn’t relevance... The shit just boils down to petty aesthetic appeal. Seeing avatars and signatures isn’t the same as something actually mattering, especially when one never consumed the shit or even went out of their way to even at least dump money on it. lol

Just because you liked seeing a pair of sexy panties on some random woman while she was bending over, doesn’t mean the panties they were wearing actually means anything to you. That’s exposure, not relevance. lol

That's be like saying I played a game, because I watched a 2 hours long story summary.
Actually no, that's much better than what you are describing, because I do know the story.

One Piece is the best example of this. It belongs to my favourite genres (Battle Shounen, Adventure) and I'm sure I'll love it if I watch it, but I haven't watched it because I don't have the willpower (I think it's obvious why).

Probably Gunslinger Girl, I love action shows with female leads but never got around to watching it. I even managed to find a DVD box-set of the show in a second hand store, so I've got it on physical media but I still haven't actually watched it.

Hmm, there are probably a few ways to answer this.

I'm a huge Digimon fan, but I have yet to watch most of the recent, post 2010 anime. Fandom wise, that would be relevant.

OTOH, as someone who likes Witch Watch and Astra Lost in Space, Sket Dance (same mangaka) would be relevant, but I have yet to read/watch it.

It's never too late to watch an anime, right? What kind of time frames are we talking about?

I think I got everything done that seemed relevant to me from ten years ago and earlier. Though, there are some shows that I stopped caring about before I got the chance to watch them. Like Power Stone.

Music anime like K-on. I'm a composer/musician/audio engineer but for some reason I just can't get into anime whose themes revolve around music.

BUT if an anime just happens to have a great ost, I fall head over heels for it. Made in Abyss left one hell of an impression on me. Frieren had one particular song in its' ost that really impressed me, too. It was only used in one episode, but it's such a good song.

I don't know what genres you like, but I recommend Yuri On Ice for its diverse soundtrack. I'm sure you'll find a piece you love.

If liking a character design is enough I guess Nisekoi is relevant just for the tomboy girl.
