Maybe it's not as necessary now given licensing, but have you ever imported say a Manga, A DVD or a figure from Japan?

Or heck something even stranger, like have you ever imported some kind of food?

No licensors or dubs, directly from the source.

Obviously, assuming you do not live in Japan

We're freaking out that we're running out of time, but to do what? Should i stop and think of that? Is there something i could do to slow it down? Live in a day for once, instead of watch it sprinting by

I haven't, but i did import a bootleg from Hong Kong once. Aside from that, everything i got was american licensed.

A friend did give me some i assume imported Manga as they're in Japanese.

It may just be scratched, but i got 2 Argentosoma DVD's. They're in english on the back, but don't play on any dvd player i own. Which is weird, because 1) they're the only malfunctioning discs in the lot i bot and 2)) it's just that specific series, 2 dvd's of that one show

We were in Japan last year so in fact we did import food in the form of bringing back some macha-flavoured biscuits and some bizzaro Kit-Kat stuff for my brother. I also brought back some manga and books - just stuff you buy in normal shops in Tokyo - for practising my Japanese with.

I only get anime stuff directly from Japan. In fact, all my Blu-rays are Japan imports.

Yeah many different things. Akiba's Trip 2 merch, Sega Saturn games, Famicom games, Manga, Anime figures, Anime soundtrack CD and also some Japanese Train Cab Ride DVDs. All were in absolutely immaculate condition, which seems common for Japanese stuff.

Some CDs and music scores and art books.

I can't really use any text since I can't read it, so that limits what's worth importing.
Avatar character is Gabriel from Gabriel DropOut.

Seeing how many people answered "never" confirms something I suspected for a while.
