'Karaoke Iko!', 'Muchuu sa, Kimi ni.' Unveil Additional Staff, Second Promo
The official website of the Karaoke Iko! (Let's Go Karaoke!) and Muchuu sa, Kimi ni (Captivated, by You) anime revealed additional staff, key visuals (pictured), the theme song, and second promotional video for the former title.Karaoke Iko! is scheduled to premiere on July 24 at 9:30 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, BS11, Kansai Telecasting, Me-Tele, HBC Hokkaido Broadcasting, Miyagi Television, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting. Muchuu sa, Kimi ni will begin airing on August 21 at 9:30 p.m. on the same stations.

Singer-songwriter Ayumu Imazu is performing Karaoke Iko!'s theme song "HOWL," previewed in the promotional video below.Asami Nakatani (Genjitsu no Yohane: Sunshine in the Mirror) is directing both anime at Doga Kobo. Yoshimi Narita (Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi) is handling the series composition. Mai Matsuura (Sirius) and Junichirou Taniguchi (Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai) is designing the characters. Takurou Iga ([Oshi no Ko]) is composing the music.
Wayama debuted Muchuu sa, Kimi ni. as an anthology at the COMITIA 127 event in February 2019. Kadokawa acquired and published the manga in a single volume in August that year.
Wayama originally published Karaoke Iko! as a doujin at the COMITIA 129 in August 2019. Kadokawa published the manga in a single volume in September 2020. Wayama began drawing the Famiresu Iko. (Let's Go to Family Restaurant) sequel manga in Monthly Comic Beam in November that year. Kadokawa released the first volume in December 2023.
Yen Press licensed both manga in English in 2021 and published Muchuu sa, Kimi ni. in July that year, followed by Karaoke Iko! in March 2022.

It still feels like a fever dream to me that not one, but TWO Wayama Yama works are getting animated by the exact same people in the exact same season, it's bonkers (just like all the mangaka's work tbh) but I'm so damn hyped like holy crap! I'm especially excited for Karaoke Iko, July just can't come soon enough, it seems.
