The anime is neither one thing nor the other. The story is rather simple. It is about betrayal and the resulting revenge. However, this adaptation lacks any sharpness that corresponds to this basic idea.
Far too often, the actions are "watered down." Scenes that should have been more brutal are simply undermined in a kind of "parody" with cheerful faces, polite behavior and/or talk, and a ridiculous biker/rowdy gang that picks up the "rescued people" in the forest.
We only see the "Gacha" element in the first episode. Even after the ninth episode, we still don't understand how our hero fights. He's level 9,999, but what does

Gun Gale Online is a franchise set in the Sword Art Online universe. The first season was somewhat watchable, even though it had a few flaws. Unfortunately, this nonsense continued in the second season.
Just to remind you, we are in a game world where player vs. player is the game concept. It's just ridiculous when players who know it's not real start wetting their pants and trembling with fear of being "shot." However, we experience these feigned war traumas in almost every episode, and it's just annoying. This is then rounded off by weak dialogue, such as in episode 4, where you drive past a ... The story is really poorly written and executed. Let's start with the enemies. They are referred to as demons and look like average white people in monk's robes. What's wrong with you? Have you never seen demons in a fantasy story or taken these evil creatures from the Bible?
Next comes our main character. Teaching the child some modesty was certainly not a bad thing, but messing him up so that he doesn't recognize his abilities makes him a danger to himself and his environment. The guy has a permanent inferiority complex. This leads him to remain below his potential. I dispute whether this is really ... Oct 7, 2025

What a terrible story full of platitudes. You have the choice: should this world be destroyed, or should it continue to exist? The fate of your mercenaries is predictable; they will all die, but you can change that by making them “holy” so that they drift indefinitely on this strange phantom ark between this world and the next, accepting only the purest souls so that the world can be reborn. The whole story is just very emotional without pursuing any particular goal. Just the contradiction between virginity and the descendants of your bloodline. Surprise, surprise, when you bring children into the world, you are no

An isekai that isn't an isekai. - It's frustrating how anime pretend to belong to a certain genre and then don't show any of it in the whole storyline. Our MC died and entered the body of the fifth son of an aristocratic family. - That's it! We don't know how he died, nor why he ended up in this body. He also doesn't benefit from his knowledge of the modern world. In fact, there isn't a single reference to it, which means it's not really an isekai.
Back to the anime. Our main character is childish. For this reason, all of the actions are very ... Jul 23, 2025
I saw the manwah on youtube and the story was just great. 25 hours of exciting storytelling in one slideshow. So I had high expectations for the anime. The first thing you notice is the deviation from the original narrative. It's incomprehensible why they didn't stick to the original. Stories don't become successful just because you write one. It takes a lot for something to become popular. It's not just that progress is far too fast. So many things have been left out of the 20-minute episodes that in the end only generic highlights are strung together. Even though Athur is back with his family

Here we have an anime with an underdeveloped storyline. According to the short description, this should be a bloody act of revenge in the style of kill Bill. However, we have an avenging angel with various limitations, which prevents him from becoming an IMBA protagonist and does not inspire any admiration.
We also don't learn anything about how he came back or why he got these abilities or did he always have them? Over the course of the episodes, we are repeatedly shown flashes from the past. This gives us a good impression of the gravity of the betrayal. The moon plays an essential role for ... Jul 20, 2025
In my opinion, this is a somewhat underrated anime. Admittedly, the storyline isn't very deep, but the plot is coherent. It's a fun story to watch. In his new life, our hero tries to be a "bad guy" and, in doing so, manages to revitalize his family's rundown town. The fights are simple, yet the storyline is good. By the end of the twelve episodes, I was disappointed that it was over. You wish there were another season, but I don't know what it could be about. One idea would be for him to finally build up his harem. Some sexual harassment as a "villain"

The anime has a weak storyline. The first season serves as an introduction to the actual story.
With only twelve episodes, the story wastes a lot of potential. Given all the progress made by our hero, Takumi, the content could easily have been doubled, if not tripled. For this reason, the storyline has no significant highs or lows. At an episodic pace, Takumi literally invents new weapons and armor and acquires skills without any mention of the changes. Another criminally neglected aspect is the lack of romance. Although Takumi is surrounded by attractive women, he seems asexual. This is very unrealistic for an adult man ... Jul 13, 2025
The story is very superficial. The target audience is clearly immature teenagers. The adventures are more like a camping trip in a wildlife sanctuary. I found the Western ideology remarkable. Something that, in my opinion, has no place in an anime. The romances hinted at in this anime are at a kindergarten level. The anime lacks suspense or compelling content. The streaming event in this world only adds another component that seems out of place. Furthermore, the classic "black and white" situations are once again presented, such as an illegitimate child from a "noble family" suddenly being forced into marriage, even though no one knows
