I think music at times was quite catchy with how prevalent it was. I felt several characters had potential for more but were cut short or not given enough time to develop them at a reasonable pace. I was really not liking the whole back and forth of the love triangle. For its time, the mecha aspect was somewhat lacking. There were a lot of unanswered questions left open. I respect the certain narrative decisions made such as decimating the earth and trying to find coexistence with another race near the end. For a show like this, some really ridiculous moments. Not saying that that is a huge impact but for a somewhat serious show and then having some sort of aircraft/mech essentially put on a trench coat and hat to disguise itself breaks immersion a little.

AHH. GOOD. CATCH. Thank you so much! I originally had Yami Shibai 2 in there, but I switched up my watch order today and that rule flew out of my brain. I appreciate you pointing it out! I would have been so sad trying to fix my candy basket mess later. Ahahah.
