Thank you for recommending 86! I really appreciated how it handled heavy themes such as prejudice, the dehumanization of soldiers, and the toll of war, all while focusing on the individual stories of its characters. The worldbuilding and characters were particularly engaging, and I especially liked Shin for his resilience.
You were right to recommend an anime with Hiroyuki Sawano’s ost. I still listen to some of his tracks from Attack on Titan and Kill la Kill to this day.
