“So basically my couch has electricity and I use it to charge my battery powered doorbell”
“Okay that makes sense”
Now explain it to a Japanese samurai from the year 1218
"do you know how waterwheels grind up grain in a water mill using the force of running water? We found a way to create a huge source of force that runs all the time and can transfer its force over long distance. I can tell you in more detail, but that's the basics. Now that is a chime that has a mechanism that one can press instead of having to open the door to let you know that you are waiting to be let in. It requires the transferred force to make the mechanism work and that wire is how we transfer the force to the chime."
i love these sort of posts because they feel like a vision of a kinder and more thoughtful world that I wish more than anything was the mainstream instead of the exception
Surprise! You’ve been Isekai’d into a D&D World… but it’s specifically a 3.5 Edition D&D world and due to a weird Glitch in the system you have been assigned not just a Base Class, but also one of that edition’s weird and wacky Prestige Class as well! Spin this wheel to see what you got!
(I added a short little summary for each Class explaining the basic gist of it. Although obviously you can also look them up to get more detailed info)
So…how are you feeling?
HELL YEAH THIS IS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME
This class is perfect for me! (complimentary)
This is pretty cool!
Not bad but… could be better
Some parts of this sounds GREAT and some sound TERRIBLE
I’m pretty sure I’m gonna die but at least I’ll be cool as hell until then
Well, I’m gonna hate being this Class but at least I’m gonna survive
I feel utterly indifferent about my Class
This class is perfect for me… (derogatory)
This isn’t good for me, but… could be worse
Yeah, this sucks
OH MY GOD THIS IS HORRIBLE I AM GONNA BE MISERABLE AND THAN I’LL DIE
listen. in this fantasy realm you’ve been isekai’d into, our elemental system corresponds roughly to the major seinfeld characters and their traits. this is entirely coincidental and shouldn’t distract you from the fact that you’re about to be killed by Kramer Orcs
summon all your Newmana; draw your Georgesteel blade. only you can stop the rites of festivus
Druid | Circle of the Beyond
New druid brew here, the circle of the beyond! Wanted to create an extraplanar druid archetype, so here it is. The idea behind it is that it works a bit like a land druid, but rather than having set locations, you mix and match two descriptors so as to design one that matches your druid's source plane best.
As always, page link here
Monk | Way of the Untamed Spirit
Back at it again with some monk stuff! The trope of 'Clearing your mind and fighting on instinct' is always a classic.
Though, if Im being truthful, my real ambitions in writing this was to just go all in on gambling. We love gambling and random chance thats why we play a dice game after all :]
So yeah, the archetype is very much "How can your enemies know what you're doing if you dont?" just spin those random dice and ping pong around the battlefield
Rogue: Guerilla
Wrote this rogue archetype to be based off the classic archetype of the "Covert Ops Soldier", giving you a mix of military training, survivalist skills, and of course the ever so classic move of just. Grabbing a guy from behind and giving it a good twist.
Also intended to be my take on a "Strength Rogue", with its access to unarmed combat.
Of course, its more than just a grappling rogue. Access to martial weapons and shields means that even in fights where you aren't using those, you do have access to a wider array of tools to fight people with. And, if you're found wanting for weapons, some good old fashioned CQC can keep you up and fighting.
Hopefully you guys enjoyed reading this!

I didn’t see the Brazil flag at first and thought people were throwing up the Brazilian flag as a sort of holy shield against the attack.
