Honestly, I know we all hate most emails, but email genuinely is the best option for small businesses a lot of the time: if you’re on my mailing list, sending an email out to you is cost-effective and likely to not be a full waste of my time, unlike FB ads and the like.

See ResultsSo: we’ve had to cut down our event calendar drastically because of Emet’s heart health & Spider’s spine and hands. Losing that income has been really rough, and while we are looking at other ways of replacing that — bringing shirt production in-house, ramping up our enamel pin Kickstarter schedule, expanding wholesale — it occurred to Spider this morning as he and Evie were on their 4th iteration of trying to make a 3D printed object that dissolves in hot water which would make it easier to create the voids in cast resin mezuzah cases that nerds might like to see these projects unfold, and that this might be a valid additional income stream.
This would potentially include things like “creating 3D printed items for shop setup,” “the process of creating and debugging patches,” “creating & preparing art for enamel pin production,” “testing resin molds & making complex resin items,” “designing for clothing production,” and much more. We make a lot of stuff that never makes it into active production because that process reveals that the idea wasn’t good, and because failure is part of creating, even our failure may be helpful to y'all.
So: whether you’d engage to support us or because you’re genuinely interested, please answer the poll and help us gauge interest!
(If you have a moral objection to the platform, that’s all we need to hear, save which alternate platform might be acceptable. We understand that it’s a thing for people, but we are as creatives limited in our monetization options. Please don’t make this post a forum for discussing why YouTube or Patreon are bad or whatever.
