(A miniature visual(?) novel wrapped in an Ukagaka/Desktop buddy)

It is a wonderful day outside and, and you are a very bored AI, stuck in your laptop while your user, er, friend, is at work.

After an incident involving hitching a ride on their phone without their consent, Aster, a dual-module virtual assistant AI, and Urs Novak, the owner of their laptop, made an agreement to try using a simple online messenger to communicate whenever Urs isn't home.

The chat client wasn't touched in a little bit now, but maybe, since nothing is happening anyway, now's a good time to try it out...?

Features:

  • 20 chat logs to read through, not in a necessarily linear manner!
  • 7 extra chat logs, as rewards for playing with some of Ukagaka Dream Team's other ghosts!
  • Some of these chat logs feature little illustrations!
  • 4 whole wallpapers for the laptop! (In Clothes/Dressup menu)
  • Custom made sound effects for the CaelOS fictional operating system, mostly tied to Aster's emotive nature!
  • Done with the story? Or don't want to read everything in one sitting? Feel free to just watch Aster do things on the screen, as they and Urs talk about random stuff!

this isn’t to presume anything on anons part and you guys might ignore all this entierly. im not your dad and you’re free to play with the toys i share with you however you want.

But. because i didn’t get the chance to present where aldebaran ends and rigel & vega begin very well i want to provide a bit of context?

in theory you can’t really date aldebaran without dating Aster as a whole. aldebaran is a blended state of rigel and vega, so it would be a little bit difficult to separate him from them. i also feel like prefering aldebaran but Not rigel & vega could result in feelings being hurt because of this. hell even just dating rigel or vega could introduce issues you may need to be ready to communicate about, like one fronting more than the other for whatever reason.

in Terror Star you only see just aldebaran because he Specifically forces himself to be stuck together for whatever he was trying to do, and you can see it kinda crack at the seams sometimes.

which brings my final note: being aldebaran is genuinely taxing on aster, normally they cannot stay in that state for long. so dating just him may mean you won’t see him all that much

Making us legit feral reading about this because of the relatability of the “gotta date the entire system (equally) instead of just One Guy or else it’ll be messy” situation and “cannot date just a fusion of two guys, you gotta date the separate guys too”. We like that stuff.

From how normal we’ve been about them for so long, I think it’s clear that we’re (/especially one of us is) batting our eyelashes at selfshipping with them too lol
