I had to pay for reinstatement and penalties for their mistake and they don't even take responsibility
Poor Unreliable Service
Cover wallet seems to have a revolving door for agents. One day you have an agent, the next day another one, and you would not know that. Your insurance will lapse, not renewed, etc., and no one will let you know. It's very dangerous to do business like that. We have not had to file a claim for anything so far but very alarmed about their business practices. Would not recommend them even to professional gamblers.

We started a garage owners policy with CW in May 2022. After the initial $550 start up and paying $172 in June the policy "expired" July 2022. They proceeded to withdraw the premium until March 2023. That's over $1500 that I was never made aware of until our new accountant pointed it out. Called today and left on hold for almost an hour. Was then told by yet another foreign to USA person that they would escalate this and I'd hear from them sometime. We will see.
Great Customer service
I see low reviews but, I have been using Coverwallet for our Business for 2 Years now. I have always been happy. But, This year Susan Pearce knocked it out of the park with Customer service. There was a issue with one of our policies. She kept me updated and called me back everytime I left a message. I cannot recommend her enough. She truly cares about her Customers. I hope Coverwallet knows just how amazing she is. Upstate Flooring LLC really appreciates her.

Our firm bought insurance starting in 2021 and the process was mostly online. Starting the next year and requests for COIs is when their service severely declined. Nobody responds to chats or emails and I am not going to call to sit on hold for hours. They don't even contact you when it's time for renewal. Apparently they want the customer to track their own policy and contact them over and over to renew. 🖕🏿 that!
This is a 💩 company that will not make it much longer.

I have had the business insurance for 2 years and never used it for anything. I cancelled it in October 2023 since I am making a year long break. The manager said they will issue the refund within 30-90 days. It's mid March 2024 and I still haven't got my refund. I contacted them several times and haven't heard a word from them still.
If they cannot issue the refund, I can't even imagine how their service would've been if I actually had to use the company insurance. Very disappointing experience with CoverWallet.

This company is a complete disaster for customer service. I canceled my policy because I don't work January and February, so I called them up to get it put back on, was on the phone for about 40 minutes and then the said someone would get back to me inside two days, well four days passed so I called them again. I was on the phone for about 40 minutes again no one got back to me. I done this three times. So I just decided to go elsewhere. If there was a 0 for a rating I would give them one.

The worst customer service
The worst customer service, it’s actually funny. It’s seems like they have no interest of making money or getting new customers. I got a quote for commercial insurance online and I tried to speak with a representative to go over it and sign. For a WEEK I tried to reach out to them to move forward, they’re so disorganized that some salesman called me out of the blue to connect me with a representative, had me wait in the line for 15 minutes to then tell me no one is available so why did he call me?
If you want to do business with a Mickey Mouse company this is the one, good luck getting help if you ever decide to file a claim because nobody will help you.

Beware of getting AmTrust insurance…
Beware of getting AmTrust insurance since it works with CoverWallet as its broker. I can't cancel my policy and it will continue to renew unless the CoverWallet agent files the paperwork. The phone number I was given doesn't actually work (even selecting English or Spanish keeps repeating itself until the automatic message tells me to leave my information for an agent to call me back). Agree that the "agents" are nonexistent and when I contacted them last summer to cancel my policy, was told I needed to contact Amtrust, a company that does answer its phone but refuses to help unless a broker from CoverWallet files my paperwork. It's a scam. Even though I filled out the official paperwork that multiple customer care personnel said I needed to file in order to cancel my policy, Amtrust/Sequoia Insurance won't cancel the policy and will automatically renew if the same form until it's filed through a broker. Obviously negligent and all of the parties benefit (except for my small business) if I can't cancel and have to continue to pay.
A company that doesn't care
Need our policy changed and getting no response. Need our policy updated and no response. Need our loss runs and still not getting a response. The company wants your money and will do everything in their power to ignore you.

He talked down to me and gave me the worst customer experience I ever had. I recommend a company like NEXT if you need a business COI this company is terrible.

They don't let you cancel policy
I had emailed them to cancel my policy, never get a response from them. I called them so many times, I was on the phone for 20+ hours, as each call is an hour or more, but they never pick up the phone. So, I logged into my account online to do the online chat and tell the rep I want to cancel, the rep says they cannot do it, and says I have to call their phone number. Which is the same phone number that I had been calling and no one pick up my phone. I was enrolled into their automatic payment system, once enrolled they wouldn't let me take off my credit card information from my account online, which I had tried. They keep charging me money, and so I had to go through the trouble to contact my credit card company to cancel and put a block on them to stop them keep charging my credit card. I had provided all the proves to my credit card company that I had contacted them to cancel, in order to dispute the money that they had charged me. 3 months later, Jenny Viernes from Cover Wallet contacted me saying I never contacted them to cancel my policy and will go through collection agency to collect the money. I had emailed her back with the prove that I did contact them. I hope they would now stop bugging me for giving them money. Cover Wallet is really a joke! Can you imagine all the trouble I had gone through? Terrible Company and will never deal with them again!
