I bought byd tang. I have summer tyres while buying the car. I have also ordered for the winter tyre . After 12 days I got a message saying that my winter tyre is ready and I can go to the shop to change . Yesterday was the date , so I went there but the shop said that there is no any winter tyres for me . The byd ware house haven’t deliver my tyres . So I have to go back house driving in summer tyres . Today the ware house called me and said that my winter tyres were delivered to another address Mistakely. It will come next week. So my first experience with byd is not so good . My car is at home and charge is below 20 percent . I don’t know when I will get winter tyres and can drive my new byd .

Careful with the purchase of vehicles from Arval UK and further use for Personal Lease or Fleet car, as in case of tyre puncture they do not work with Continental brand and they will insert a mismatch of tyres to save costs and use the gap in UK Law. This will pose a serious safety as the EV might drift due to different tyres placements where the car does not operate as expected and possible vehicle unexpected behaviour. They will then activate warranty.
Service is poor
Service is poor. The lock nut in my car went missing. Alan Day staff could really check on the vehicle before handing over to the customer.

Accueil à chambray les Tours déplorable. Si c'est leur vision du métier de commercial en parlant mal au client sur un ton excédé presque agressif , il faut en changer. Le comportement nous avait déjà choqué la veille quand ce Monsieur (qui a son bureau à droite en rentrant dans la concession) était au téléphone avec un client potentiel. Aucune empathie.
Notre rendez-vous a duré 3 minutes, nous sommes partis.
Ne perdez pas votre temps.

Are people aware when buying a BYD Sealion 7 excellence with the larger battery, that the wonderful BYD Blade battery when charged at home using a 7.5Kw home charger will take from 2% to 100% 15 hours. Now, I’m no expert but I previously had a Tesla Model Y that would have done that same charge, using the same wall mounted charger in approximately 8 hours, so to recount, my electric bill has almost doubled….Do not buy a BYD Sealion 7…..If you do, then you need your head red….
App BYD non funziona
Ho acquistano una BYD Dolphin Surf a dicembre 2025, saldando prima della consegna.
Sono circa 2 mesi che ho l'auto e non è ancora possibile utilizzare l'App BYD perché l'auto risulta ancora "bloccata" dalla casa madre.
Il Call Center BYD Italia è inutile perché non può fare nulla e dice che devono sbloccare a livello centrale.
Sono estremamente insoddisfatto.

Overvejer du en BYD? Så lad vær’! Al kundeservice forsvinder så snart slutseddel er underskrevet. De overholder ikke leveringstider, og holder samtidigt ikke én orienteret om hvad der sker. Man skal selv henvende sig for at få en opdatering, og der kan gå flere uger før sælgeren svarer (hvis han overhovedet svarer). Sælgerne kan ikke kender forskel på modellerne, og kender ikke til deres eget produkt. Specielt i BYD Taastrup.
Så overvejer du en elbil? Hold dig fra BYD!

Their EVs cannot charge!
Horrible after sales support. My brand new sealion 7 has stopped charging on both AC and DC, in for repairs but BYD refuses to give a loan vehicle. Wtf it's a brand new electric car that won't charge, might as well get a toy car!
Note for other BYD users, if you guys have a similar issue, drive the car 100km away from your home and call BYD roadside assist, they will have to give you a loan car in this case. That's what customer service advised me over the phone lol.

Bluetooth connection / Apple CarPlay doesn’t work automatically - you have to press lots of buttons etc to get it to connect and even then whilst you’re driving it switches itself off. Another 90 mile round trip and four hours of my life which I won’t get back. I’ve tried all sorts of resets etc and nothing works.
un seul mot lamentable
un seul mot lamentable, irrespectueux. notre société à deux BYD ATTO 3, une première panne pour la batterie 12V, 3 mois sans voiture, sans véhicule de remplacement, aucune information. 2ème ATTO 3 après un accident (voir photo sur demande), 15 ke de réparation, 6 mois d'immobilisation , pas de voiture de remplacement, pas d'information, facture exagérée 60 % du prix de la voiture, même si l'expert AXA a accepté le devis, uniquement de la carrosserie et surtout dans les 2 cas, énorme délai de fourniture de pièces.
pendant ce temps les loyers courent. BYD maurin s'en moque, estime que nous n'avons aucun préjudice....
BYD et Maurin, beaucoup de pubs, mais n'ayez aucune panne car votre voiture sera des mois sans aucun appel pour vous tenir informé. Le pire est que la responsable clientèle, fuit, ne répond à aucune question posée. Relation client à revoir. la direction générale de BYD a pris le dossier en main. En attendant, éviter cette concession. Pour nous, 9 mois de locations payées pour rien, et plus de 5 000 € de préjudice financier, mais Maurin s'en moque. la justice va trancher.
BYD Seal: mechanically brilliant, dreadful electronics
It gives the impression that they got proper engineers in to design the drive train and suspension, then let the MD's nephew do the dashboard for his school project.
It has safety features that make it more dangerous, a small dashboard with details too small to read and obscured by the steering wheel, and a huge screen that's 80% blank; switches that do nothing useful and important things operated by a dodgy touchscreen, but it drives beautifully once you have turned off the "lane keeping assistant"
Talk about spoiling the ship for a ha'p'orth of tar!
I purchased a BYD Seal three months…
I purchased a BYD Seal three months ago. During this period, three tires burst unexpectedly without any warning light, fault indication, or puncture. When I requested roadside assistance, I was informed that tires are not covered under warranty. I inquired whether recovery services could be arranged since the vehicle was immovable, but my request was declined. The service quality has been very poor, and the tires have exhibited substandard durability. Throughout this experience, I found the customer service to be unhelpful and unsatisfactory.
Upon visiting the BYD store at Westfield White City, I was advised that the customer service team should have arranged recovery services, which they did not. I was given an email address to submit a complaint; however, I have not received any response to my correspondence.
BYD Stockport
BYD Stockport - had two issues with my brand new seal. On both occasions communication with service staff extremely poor and had poor technical advice. I was given information that was inaccurate and was made to feel like I was not worthy of being the owner of a £32k car. They were incapable of listening to my concerns and showed little or no professionalism. Horrendous after sales wouldn’t buy another BYD for the after care alone. The only reason it received two stars was because BYD is at Mercedes in Stockport and the service from these is 5 stars.

te zien en het rijdt ook heerlijk, maar ik ben erg teleurgesteld in de bouwkwaliteit van de auto voornamelijk de panelen van de wagen, mijn dochter heeft haar fiets laten vallen en het stuur met rubberen hendel is tegen de zijscherm voor gevallen wat resulteerde in een aardige grote deuk te groot omdat de fiets niet hard viel, ook is er een voetbal op de achterklep gekomen wat ook resulteerde in een grote deuk waar bij de meeste auto’s een voetbal helemaal geen schade geeft.De schade hersteller gaf ook aan de de brouwkwaliteit erg matig was wat resulteerde in grote deuken waar bij andere auto’s dit niet zo erg voorkomt.

Les reprises effectué par BYD 37 Chambray les Tours sont minable il reprenne votre véhicule 7 000 a 10000 euros moins cher que les autres concessionnaires mon véhicule estimé chez eux 15000 euros vendu chez eux dans leur réseau autosphere environ 27000 ce sont des gens pas sérieux qui veulent se faire du fric sur le dos des client potentiels à FUIR.
