about

a cloud reflection,
rippled by
a sinewave
says “∿"

warm sounds rise,
pressure changes
and they fall
on the carpet . . . .

where a cat's tongue
awaits
to dissolve them
once again

... suddenly
... without an explanation

a magician pulls a "?"
that turns into a "!"
from their invisible hat

and

A new scale,
that starts
from R
appears

Each track has its own system, a different path. Some machines along with physical instruments are sampled and crafted into ingredients. In that way, auto-collage could be used to describe the result, a music made of parts of self forgotten moments. In the wake of browsing through its own files, field recordings and left-over jams, Rscale recollects itself before leaping in another direction. After all this nonsense, the result is hopefully as intended: spineless hazy sluggy music to lie down, with a few bursts of unexpected effects and ear-food.

This mixture of invisible odorless but tasteful variation has been brewing in the ether for multiple seasons. Nonlocal research is delighted to announce the return of Frere Tuck to the physical realm of sound since Portland Expanded on Santé Loisir.

(R in french is pronounced "air", with the rolling throaty R, it also means "nothing" as "rien")
