PLAYLIST: oi oi oi, etc. - happy aus music month!
every november in so-called australia is Aus music month! A bunch of my favourite artists created a campaign #ausify, encouraging people to make and share playlists featuring our favourite ‘strayan artists so big streamers will push their work more. I’m someone who’s grown up in a regional city with a staunch live music culture and love my local artists. So, here’s a playlist of my favourite artists from so-called australia, including Blakfella (First Nations) artists, queer and trans artists, bonafide oz anthems, country, rap, childhood faves, afro-australian artists, and even some tracks from my friends and family’s bands. so-called australia rarely gets praise for music, but I truly believe we have some of the best and innovative artists in the world so I thought I’d do my bit in promoting their work 🖤💛❤️

yeats-infection Answer:
this is actually #3! here’s the first one and the second
destruction unit – the world on drugs
death in vegas – dirge
lucinda williams – get right with god
the band – yazoo street scandal
sixteen horsepower – i seen what i saw
ween – you were the fool
canned heat – time was
aldous harding – leathery whip
silkworm – and then…
butthole surfers – pepper
bonus: this entire totally random and apparently completely forgotten about 1996 album by the seattle band the west section line, man downstairs. i heard a song on KEXP a few years ago and have been listening ever since but the whole album video has under 200 views on youtube… i would highly recommend it and it could in and of itself soundtrack an entire weird western mccabe and mrs miller style…

It’s the first Sunday in a while where we don’t have a bonus episode for you, so I’ve curated a selection of wizard music for your interest and enjoyment. We’ve got good wizards, bad wizards, really bad wizards, cute wizards, funny wizards, worryingly unfunny wizards, and at least one genuine cult leader. Enjoy!

My official saltburn playlist. Perfect for being hopelessly in love with your grade’s mean girl, stumbling drunkenly through suffocating bass-thumping parties, wandering around foggy courtyards, and following the object of your obsession to the bitter end. Best listened to from beginning to end w/ no shuffling.
