I’m in a tough spot financially. My mom has been in in-patient rehab due to a fall. I’m paid to care for her specifically when she is at home, so I’m not being paid, and wont be until she gets home. Thus, these will be open until I’m being paid by my agency again!

What I’m Offering:

Headshots, full bodies, half bodies, humans/humanoids, animals of all sorts, pets, anthros, robots, Plushify!, ref sheets, icons, emojis, stickers, short comics, sft, ns.ft–you name it, I’ll probably be able to do it! Feel free to ask me about any ideas you have, especially as I dont have references for everything mentioned. I can even work off descriptions if you dont have ref sheets!
(Examples of nsf.t works can be requested, but I have featured none below.)

I’m also offering to record or stream the art progress. Recording will be +$5 (for storage and upload space), while streaming will be a bit more (+$10) to compensate for aligning mine and the commissioners’ times so the stream can be viewed live.

All images will come with either a transparent background or a two-color background (gradient or framed). Abstract/multicolor backgrounds can be upgraded for +$5, and complex backgrounds (eg; simple setting) will start at +$20.

What I’m NOT Offering:

Because I’m a very flexible artist, the only few things I cant draw/paint are detailed landscapes, lineless painted style, realism of any subject, and detailed vehicles. That’s it, that’s the list.

Commission Etiquette:

I accept payment through pa.ypal, which I will give through DMs (tumblr or discord) once the art is started, and I will provide the finalized image once payment is received. My currency is in USD, and Payp.al is my preferred platform in order to assist non-US folk with conversion.

Details of any and all images will be worked out before work starts through DMs. For larger pieces, (full body, multiple characters, etc) progress shots will be sent before inking begins. Progress shots can be requested at any time.

Edits are accepted post-delivery of the finished image; 1 major edit (major pose change, added features, other similar large change) and 5 minor edits (color adjustments, wonky anatomy, accessory swaps, other small changes) are free; anything past these will be extra (+$10+ea for major edits depending on complexity, +$5ea for minor). Edits done during progress, such as on stream, are free up until the final touches.

My default canvas is 1920x1080 so it can be used as a computer background without any cropping needed. This will change for other sized images such as headshots or subjects that are tall rather than wide, but canvas size can be requested specifically, such as for a larger screen or for a portrait orientation for a phone background.

Though I currently have no slots or slot cap, I do request a maximum of 3 works from a single purchaser at one time.

The commissioner will receive a minimally watermarked/signed version of the final product. I reserve the right to post a heavily watermarked version of finished arts within my gallery or as examples in commission sheets; this can be requested against by the commissioner.

Random bee behavior fact for those who wish to read, just because I feel like it and because it’s late and I’m stalling on sleeping:

Bumblebees may seem like passive, cuddly, and docile creatures, but they won’t hesitate to defend themselves if they feel as if their warnings aren’t being read or taken seriously.

I.e. the photo and diagram below, when a bee feels threatened they will raise one or more of their legs into the air, signaling to whatever or whomever may be bothering them as a message essentiality saying: “hey, back off, too close!”

If their defensive posture goes unnoticed or ignored, they may be pushed into defending themselves by stinging (which is also a stressful experience for not only one such as yourself, but also for the bee.) If you ever find yourself getting close to a bumblebee while taking pictures, walking close to them, or just admiring them, remember this posture! If a bee does this, it is simply asking you to take a step back as it feels it is being threatened.

Now you can understand and use this knowledge to your advantage if you ever come across one in the future. (Of course, because it’s very hard not to anthropomorphize animals, I do have to admit that they do look pretty cute when doing it. Just remember to respect them though!)

I can hear “you go to hell for being gay” and laugh it off but the default experience for children in the united states is to be born into religious abuse. for the vast majority of people being christian wasnt a choice and clawing themselves away is a painful isolating process

I work as a programmer for $35 an hour.

They once forgot to pay me for 8 extra hours that they needed me to work on Thanksgiving weekend. They simply needed me to be present for 8 hours in order to quickly fix any problems that happened during their busiest weekend, and no such problems ended up happening.

When they saw the mistake and paid me for it, the gross pay for that day was $420 (base of $35 x 8 hours x 1.5 for overtime).

The first thing I noticed was how that compared to what I got paid at my warehouse job before I became a programmer. When I started the job at the warehouse, I got paid $10 an hour. For a full time week, I got paid $400.

I got paid more for that one day of doing practically nothing as a programmer than I did busting my ass at the warehouse for a whole week.

So enough about this “I work harder than them so I deserve more pay” bullshit. You’re all the working class. In our fucked up system, hard work does not equal more pay. If you want more pay, you need to fight back against the rich assholes who profit off your labor and pay you jack shit, not fight with other people who are underpaid about who deserves to be more underpaid.

“trans music” and then it’s only trans women’s music (and a very narrow selection of them at that)

“trans books” and then it’s only books about trans women

And I’ve been noticing that whenever the trans fem people I know, for example, see a significant amount of trans masc content on Pinterest, they’ll be like “Pinterest thinks I’m trans masc.” When I see a significant amount of trans fem stuff on Pinterest I barely even notice it’s just “trans stuff” to me, but trans masc people’s content doesn’t get to just be “trans stuff” it’s always “trans masc stuff”

In general people just tend to act like the word “trans” belongs more to trans women then anyone else
