The final scene of the movie, the Creature is bathed in sunlight.

I’m sorry but I just noticed the raw desperation and fervency in Hannibal’s hand… how he holds Will in place, steady so he won’t escape or fall. How he adjusts his grip to feel Will more—closer. With strength and pure need, as evidenced by the long line of his fore-arm bulging (becomes pronounced with strain/effort). How his hand slips a little bit… he doesn’t yank Will’s hair, he’s CRADLING him close. But with feral-intense feelings. How he himself adjusts his CHIN so that it’s a proper embrace… and he’s closer to Will… just making Will’s scent permeate him as much as possible too so that he can hold unto him even when this moment ends. How despite blinding wrath, it all stems from love and intimacy
