Awful

Awful. Bradley Colburn who was in charge of my case was abysmal. I was able to speak to him over the phone once in the six months it took him to complete a very simple mortgage for me. Other than that, you wait on the phone trying to get through for hours and then finally told that No one is available. If you email it takes them 3 working days to respond. Never go with them, it was so time consuming and stressful.

Remortgaging through the online portal was very convenient. I experienced a small issue while using the portal, but after calling Optima, they resolved it within 24 hours.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience.

1. Incorrect information provided at every step of my remortgaging process
2. Claimed to have actions completed by Optima Legal that had not been performed leading to me needing to chase on a ridiculous number of occasions to get the process moving
3. Do not respond to messages and do not pick up the phone
4. Significant delays in the process caused by optima legal’s failures - leading to additional cost to be born by the customer

Do not use at all!

Terrible service so far they expect us to jump through hops, we said we want to move fast on the remortgage and transfer of equity to be told it’s going to take months looks like my mortgage offer will expire before they even look at any docs we sent… not confident at all and not a good start to our case will be making a formal complaint

Shocking customer service and very slow

I’m currently using Optima legal for a remortgage. They’re extremely unresponsive. The latest contact was me replying to some questions that they had last monday. I responded immediately and i’m still waiting for this to be reviewed. You’re also unable to call and speak to anyone who can handle the case, you have to submit a request for someone to call you on their portal! Totally backwards from a customer service point of view and clearly done for them to maximise the amount of cases/work they take on. My reference is M874799

Avoid at all costs , can’t speak to anyone and the messages you send take an age for a reply .
Sent me an email saying the money is being transferred but could take upto 24hours , i received it gone 3 pm which made it to late to go to the Halifax to transfer the payment because it was over 25k , the whole chain was put out by this
