Scammers

When you send back your empty cylinders they will claim that they have never received anything and send you a request to pay for them. Messaging their customer service will not get you any reply and when you call them they claim that they will figure it out but never call back or message you back. Scammers.

Update: Filed a report with consuwijzer. This company needs to be shut down.

Zero stars.

There should be a zero stars rating for this company. They are essentially fraudsters. Like everybody else here, they are claiming that cylinders have not been returned, despite evidence of sending them with PostNL. I'm lucky that I took photos of the receipts from PostNL, because who keeps the actual receipts for more than 18 months?
I am now in the second round of trying to get this sorted, despite their promises of their "returns department" looking into it.
I am reporting them to the billing company (Billink) and to the police, and I encourage everyone else to do the same.

UPDATE: The place to report this company seems to be the Dutch consumer protection people at ConsuWijzer (no links allowed here, soory)

Intimidation tactics

Trying to let me pay for canisters from Sodastream I returned 4(!) years ago. Asked them for proof of me not returning them. Got no substantial reply, but a bill.

Please know that you don 't have to pay. They need to proof you did not return the canisters. After two years bills for consumers are expired.

Dutchdo and/or Sodastream are trying to make financial gain by overwhelming (old) costumers.

Warning!!!!!!

Warning!!!!!!Buyer, beware! We just received a bill from a third-party on behalf of Dutchdo, saying that we owed €60 for canisters we did not return??? We had no idea they needed to go back to them- We were also not told they need to be returned within 14 days of purchase ! we were threatened with this being sent to a collection agency if not paid in 5 days! we did not receive a bill prior to this, they claim they sent us a bill, but we never received one, they also would not verify what email address they had. They added an extra fees and told us we had no choice but to pay it. They own sodastreamshop.nl. I recommend going to Blokker.

Scammers,

Scammers,
I had an order of 4 cylinders in October, send them promptly back. Since feb they miss 2 of them suddenly. They haven’t noticed my in three months. I have disputed invoice immediately, because they have mess in warehouse, but they don’t cancel their faults. I am not going to pay them that, as it was not my fault.
I won’t shop there ever anymore and don’t advise to anyone to do so.

Scam: Nonsense about old canisters

They deliver as promised and I immediately returned the old empty canisters but now they claim they didn't receive them. I followed their instructions to the letter and still they claim it's my fault, and that I should find out where they are. Even though THEY have the track and trace code, and PostNL says THEY should contact them. If they really wanted them back, they would have checked with PostNL. They just want to make an extra 30 euros.

The whole returning of old bottles is a scam if you ask me: if you stop using the product, you can get 1 or 2 euros per canister, but still they charge me 15 per canister for not returning them??

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I have sent back my cylinder from SodaStreeam weeks ago and now I am being harassed with NON RETURN FEE.
I have explained by email to the company, that I don't have the tracking code anymore and asked the Customer Service to help me to solve the situation. Instead, the Customer Service trying to help me (the customer) to get the situation solved, they just say that I need to get it solved with my post office.
How can my post office have the tracking code ?
My suggestion was to track through their system the number of the Retour Label they have sent with my order. They are uncapable to do that and only answer my emails with same answers.

I will never buy from this company again. Don't buy from this company, they treat the customers very badly.

Got a sodastream machine and needed…

Got a sodastream machine and needed cylinders for it. I got two cylinders from them for the first time and received an extra charge for not returning them. However the cylinders are still not empty, and as these are my first cylinders, I could not return any other.

Missing shipping return label

On the 2nd of July I received my cylinders (sodastream) as part of the exchange program which I had the pleasure to use before without issues.
This time there was no shipping label on the box to return the cylinders and I contacted your customer support, which kindly advised me how I could return them by using the free return address.

On Saturday I went to my local PostNL office and I was told that the address given was not correct and if I wanted to ship them I would have to pay full shipping price.
I reached your customer support, and they suggested that I go to another post office.

When I asked if I could get the shipping label, as it should have in the first place, I was told that there is no shipping label and to go to another post office.

I find this answer completely unacceptable, I purchased the cylinders via your website because you offer a simple, no hassle, no need to leave your home solution, to now being asked to go around asking post offices to accept the parcel.

I have also sent this message to review.dutchdo.nl but so far no answer.

UPDATE : seems you have an automatic response, if you read carefully I had already reached to you Review (@) dutchdo.nl via email and I have received no answer.

Trying to charge me twice - No answer from Customer Service. Buyer Beware

I paid for a Sodastream on the exact date and time I ordered it and now they're sending me email after email and now mailing me stuff that I didn't pay. I responded to the email and tried calling but no answer. I think they're running scams. Buyer Beware!

Really bad experience

Update: Package got sent to the wrong address and after contacting them several times by mail I got a refund (which I think is a right of every single consumer) I wanted to be fair and tell my shopping experience in this website. That's why I'm updating my review

Really bad experience: ordered some product via their website (mobile version) and was not properly working so I couldn't change the delivery address. When I contacted the customer service (2 mins later) they were really rude and told me that the products were already sent. I will never buy again from you
