I’m writing this to warn others.

I downloaded Adobe Photoshop 2026 for macOS from FileCR (filecr.com). After installing it, within hours I started getting Google security alerts that someone was trying to log into my Gmail account from another country.

This was not a coincidence. The only thing I had installed was the cracked Photoshop from FileCR.

Even though I had antivirus installed, it did not detect anything. But my browser sessions and Google account were clearly compromised. This type of malware steals login cookies and access tokens, so hackers can log in without needing your password.

Because of this, I had to:

Immediately change all passwords

Enable 2-step verification

Sign out all devices

Completely erase my MacBook

Reinstall macOS from scratch

This was extremely stressful and could have cost me my business and email accounts.

FileCR is not safe. The software they distribute is infected. Do not risk your system, your data, or your accounts.

After few days letter download problem

Downloaded Acrobat pro, found a trojan in it.

I have no clue what the people not giving this 5 stars are whining about. As long as you have a half decent amount of how to download anything, read a file called "readme.txt"and follow the instructions in said file, you also wouldve rated it 5 stars like me. Using it as my main torrent site for games, software, apks you name it. NEVER ONCE HAD I HAD A ISSUE OF ANY KIND NO MALWARE TRIGGERS, NOTHING. This is the only site where you can download anything you see and be 10000% guaranteed its gonna work and its not malware of some kind. Just follow the instructions and dont try be smart guy and think you dont need em and then giving 1 star reviews for your own incompetence.

Trash site. After dowloaded here i got tons of viruses now i need to reinstall my win. It's jailbreak very fast also very hard to clean them out of your pc 👍

TLDR: Don’t mind false positives, disable antivirus if it does not install, and only click the actual download button, not the advertisement one.

If antivirus think that you have a virus, don’t. It is just a false positive that appears because of crack tools to make the software work, if they don’t exist, then crack software don’t exist. Clicking the right buttons will not give you a virus, I have been downloading from this website for a long time now and not got a single virus. If you got one, you probably saw a fake download advertisement which makes you think that is the file you are downloading but it is actually downloading a totally different file which is malicious.

all my desktop icon suddenly disappear and all my taskbar icon are same (except windows apps like Whatsapp, microsoft store, etc). i cant open task manager. even in-place upgrade can not help me. i should restart my pc, system restore point can not help me, this happen twice to me :(

One of the best sites to download and test software. Antivirus tools recognise (deliberately) keygens and patches as potentially unwanted programs.
The other are horror messages from individuals to discourage downloading.

25,000 stolen from my wallet

Mac Davinci resolve studio plus lightroom classic and photoshop. All of my coins from Solana, Ethereum and Base were sold and sent to wallets I don't own. I had coinbase wallet as a chrome extension but didnt type in my passwords or seed phrases in the time since installation. Somehow my seed phrases or private keys were accessed with no need for me. I assume sold on the dark web because of the day gap between Base and solana drains. I noticed 2 hours too late. If they could scrape my phrase they definitely have my banking and email passwords.

I could have had a lifetime subscription to the adobe suite + Resolve. But instead, I have the gift of this naive mistake.
