Very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with flydubai. During my recent trip, my suitcase was severely damaged by baggage/security handling. The shell of my suitcase was cracked and the locks were completely broken, making it unusable.
What makes this even more frustrating is that the staff at the airport initially acknowledged the damage and accepted responsibility. However, once I returned home and submitted a formal claim online, flydubai completely denied any involvement and refused to compensate for the damage.
The lack of accountability and the way this was handled is extremely unprofessional. It’s disappointing to see such inconsistency between what is said at the airport and how claims are treated afterward.
Based on this experience, I will not be flying with flydubai again.
Don't buy anything from duty free
I would give this airline zero stars if I could. The ground staff seemed poorly trained and unhelpful. I was forced to rebook my return ticket, and they charged me for excess weight on my carry-on simply because I purchased items at duty-free. The timing of their weighing procedure, placing a scale directly before boarding, seems designed to catch passengers off guard and extract additional fees.
The policy also raises concerns about fairness and potential discrimination. If weight is the issue, the current approach appears arbitrary and inconsistent.
I'm extremely disappointed with this experience and cannot recommend this airline.
Amazing flight.

Had a great experience traveling with flydubai this time. The terminal 3 made up my travel spectacular. From check in till departure all went well. As I always don’t prefer bus boarding which is a huge disappointment it almost takes 20 minutes to reach the aircraft. But liked their terminal 3 departure.
Very disappointing and unprofessional…
Very disappointing and unprofessional experience with Flydubai at Sphinx International Airport (Egypt).
The check-in counter staff, including their manager, behaved in a highly unprofessional manner. Communication was poor, explanations were unclear, and the overall attitude toward passengers was disrespectful and dismissive.
What made the situation worse was how the staff appeared to coordinate with immigration regarding overstaying visa penalties. Instead of clearly explaining official procedures or fixed amounts, the process turned into negotiation and pressure, which felt inappropriate and unfair. Payment amounts were changed multiple times without transparency or justification.
I also witnessed other passengers being treated the same way, facing sudden changes in required payments and unnecessary pressure. The lack of consistency, clarity, and basic customer respect was shocking.
This experience does not meet the standards expected from an international airline. Flydubai seriously needs to review the conduct of its ground staff and management at this airport to prevent similar situations in the future.

I had a wonderful first trip with fly Dubai airlines. My experience with flyDubai was wonderful. I was very excited to take to take flight in business class to Zanzibar Tanzania. It was first time in business class cabin. I got my boarding pass in very fast. After boarding cabin welcomed me greeted me. All businesss class service was amazing . Their entertainment system was good and I loved it watched movie all through. Cabin crew kind and seats were comfortable. Everything went smooth.
Very disappointed with Flydubai.
Very disappointed with Flydubai.
Today, on my Flydubai flight, I politely asked for a headset, but one air hostess spoke to me in a rude manner.
It made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected as a passenger.
Customer service should be polite and respectful. This spoiled my travel experience.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, terrible support. I booked a flight and made a mistake with the date, booking it one day later than intended. I contacted them within 12 hours of booking to simply change the flight to the previous day at the same time, but they refused, insensitively applying a 100% penalty to change the flight to the day before. It's unbelievable that a company like this doesn't allow flight changes within 12 hours of purchase. I strongly advise against using them; terrible service, not even a refund or credit, nothing.

Very poor experience and even worse…
Very poor experience and even worse customer service. We paid extra specifically for exit-row seats on FZ 569 (14 Dec). flydubai’s delay forced us into an additional ~6 hours waiting in Dubai and a rebooking. On the flight we ultimately took, the exit-row seats we paid for were not provided.
I contacted Customer Care to request a refund of the exit-row seat surcharge for a service we didn’t receive. They refused to refund and then closed the case. This is basic: if you sell a paid add-on and don’t deliver it, you refund it — especially when the disruption is on your side. I’ll avoid flydubai going forward and won’t recommend it to others.

I flew with flydubai from Krabi to Dubai on January 16th and discovered two high-value items (a Lacoste jacket and a Patagonia pullover) were missing from my checked bag upon arrival.
I followed the correct procedure and emailed the airline immediately to report the situation, but I have received absolutely no response or acknowledgment. It is unacceptable for an airline to ignore a passenger reporting missing property. Their customer service is non-existent when things go wrong. I am still waiting for an update on my claim and a resolution to this theft.
Dubai to Dammam
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Flydubai, marked by poor communication, unprofessional conduct, and a complete lack of accountability from the airline.
Flydubai failed to properly inform and update passengers about the correct terminal and gate information, which directly resulted in a large number of passengers missing their flights. On my flight from Dubai to Dammam, more than 20–30 passengers were affected, and similar issues appeared to be happening with other flights as well. This was not a passenger error — it was clearly due to the airline’s mismanagement and misinformation.
What made the situation worse was flydubai’s response to their own mistake. Instead of taking responsibility, the airline forced passengers to pay and rebook entirely new tickets, despite the fact that the missed flights were caused by their incompetence. This is completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the airline’s customer service standards.
The behaviour of Flydubai employees was equally disappointing. Staff were unbothered, disinterested, and unprofessional, showing little to no empathy for stranded passengers. Rather than offering assistance or solutions, employees blamed customers for missing their flights, even though passengers had followed the information provided by the airline.
After speaking with many other affected passengers, it was clear that the experience left a lasting negative impression. The majority of us agreed that we would never book or fly with Flydubai again, myself included.
Overall, this experience demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for customers. I strongly urge Flydubai to review its communication processes, staff training, and customer service policies, as this level of service is unacceptable for any airline.

I am very disappointed with the service I received from flydubai.
As I already explained, the issue was related to my hand-carry allowance. Your staff behaved very rudely and refused to allow me to carry my permitted hand baggage. Despite my request, they refused to assist and did not try to resolve the issue at all. The way your staff treated me was unacceptable.
I have shared my feedback and unfairly issue to flydubai but responded very bad. They didn't fix the issue fairly. They keep saying that to pay. I explained them clearly that they refused my request. Really very very bad. Also landing experience was so bad. My luggage key damaged. I m travelling so many country but this is my first time flying with fly Dubai .
This was a very bad and unpleasant experience, and the service provided was extremely poor. Because of this experience, I will never recommend flydubai to anyone.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.

I am writing this review following a very serious incident at Dubai International Airport (DXB) on 14 January 2026.
I was travelling on a business and family trip with two very young children (aged 3 years and 11 months). Despite being present at the gate, calm and cooperative, and with the boarding gate still open, we were denied boarding without any final call or name announcement.
The ground staff behaviour was unprofessional and aggressive, and the situation escalated unnecessarily in front of my children. No valid explanation was provided, and we were forced to purchase alternative flights at our own expense.
The matter has since been formally escalated to flydubai / Emirates, with regulatory authorities informed. I am sharing this experience to highlight serious concerns regarding staff conduct, passenger treatment, and duty of care.
incompetent staff, terrible customer service
I checked in online and had my boarding passes before arriving at the airport. I only needed to drop off two checked bags. I entered the baggage drop line two hours before departure and immediately asked a staff member, Mohammed Kassem, whether I was in the correct line for my flight. Over the course of an hour, I asked him multiple times and was told yes every time.
After standing in line for an hour, I asked again. This time, he looked surprised, pulled me out of line, and told me baggage was no longer being accepted and that I had missed the cutoff. This made no sense, as I had been following his instructions the entire time. When I tried to understand what had happened, he refused to explain or help.
He then condescendingly suggested that I either abandon my bags in the airport and board the flight or accept that I had missed it. He began ignoring me, pretending to be on a phone call, and refused to assist further. He would not help rebook me, direct me to anyone who could help, or take responsibility in any way.
When I asked to speak to his manager, he falsely claimed he was the manager. I eventually had to search the airport myself to find his superiors. They refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing, insisted it was entirely my fault for not arriving three hours early, and refused to check security cameras to verify that I had been in line for over an hour. Other passengers in the same line had also been waiting nearly an hour and almost missed their flights, yet staff still refused to admit the line was moving slowly. They also ignored my complaint about their colleague’s behavior and dishonesty.
Terrible staff, terrible service, and an awful experience. I would not recommend this airline to anyone.
Negative review – flydubai (PNR UX9U9U)
am sharing my experience with flydubai, which I consider unacceptable and contrary to basic passenger rights.
I purchased and paid for a ticket on the route Minsk (MSQ) – Dubai (DXB) – Muscat (MCT) with departure on 26 December 2025. The ticket price was USD 909.59. The choice of departure from Minsk was deliberate, despite the higher price, in order to avoid additional transfers and risks.
On 22 December 2025, flydubai unilaterally changed the essential terms of the booking without prior notice or my consent:
the departure airport was changed from Minsk to Moscow,
the departure date was moved to 25 December,
the paid Minsk–Dubai segment was removed.
I was not contacted in advance and had to reach out to the airline myself to understand how to get to the new departure airport.
As a result:
the flight from Moscow was significantly delayed,
the connection in Dubai was missed,
I arrived in Muscat on a later flight,
total travel time increased from approximately 12 hours to more than 30 hours.
Although flydubai later arranged a ground transfer to Moscow, this does not replace the original contracted service or justify charging the full fare for a more expensive route. The airline refused to recalculate the fare or provide any compensation and stopped responding after my formal escalation notice.
This experience shows a serious lack of transparency, inadequate communication, and unwillingness to take responsibility for major disruptions caused to passengers.
I strongly recommend future passengers to be cautious when booking with flydubai, especially if schedule reliability and clear communication are important.

Very disappointing experience with the call centre. The representatives had the worst attitude . Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the staff appeared uninterested and unhelpful.
Customer service is supposed to support and guide clients, but this experience was the complete opposite. I hope management takes this seriously and provides proper training on communication, patience, and problem-solving.
Damaged luggage
At the Dubai airport, after I checked in my luggage, it has been inspected by authorities. Once I collect my luggage at the destination airport I found the lock ( TSA integrated in the luggage) broken, impossible to use it again. Everything inside has been checked. All the necessaires have been opened without being closed, so everything moved and got messy. Nothing has been stolen. At the destination airport I report the damage and open a claim, which has been forwarded to Flydubai.
They reply saying that they are not responsible for damages related to the normale use and wear. Is it normal use and wear the inspection of the luggage, break of the lock which could be easily have been opened with the regular universal key you can use to open TSA locks? This is totally reply from a cheap company with expensive flights. We don’t recommend this airline to anydoby.
Appalling customer service
I made an error with the passenger name on the booking with Fly Dubai so I contacted them within minutes of making the booking but was forced to pay over $100 to make the change. After making the payment communication ceased. 48 hours later still waiting for communication from customer support. Once they've got your money they're not interested in helping you.
Don’t take responsibility. No customer service
The Worst !!!! Airline
I have received email that my flight was canceled, without any explanation. And I was offered to take a flight from another country, not another city but country.
Even though I still can buy tickets Minsk-Dubai. They offer me to drive 15 hours to another countryf that later on I take a flight to go home. Instead of offering me a flight on another day I was offered to travel to Moscow. To another country. Customer service Adam replied with generic reply
