Ik werd telefonisch gecontacteerd door een vertegenwoordiger van het bedrijf. Ze zeiden dat mijn vorige installateur van de zonnepanelen failliet was gegaan en dat als ik geen afspraak met hen zou maken, de zonnepanelen zouden worden afgesloten en niet meer zouden werken. Ze zeiden dat ze het contract van het vorige bedrijf overnamen en een inventarisatie moesten maken. Ze hadden mijn e-mailadres, telefoonnummer en huisadres en wisten welk bedrijf de zonnepanelen had geïnstalleerd.

Ik werd aangespoord om een ​​afspraak te maken en te betalen.

Daarna werd ik gebeld door de afdeling ruimtelijke ordening. Ze zeiden niets over het overnemen van het contract en de garantie, en op de vraag of de panelen zouden werken als ik geen afspraak had, zeiden ze waarschijnlijk van wel. Ik probeerde duidelijke antwoorden te krijgen, maar kreeg er geen. De dame van de afdeling ruimtelijke ordening stelde voor om het tijdens de afspraak met de betreffende persoon te bespreken.

Vervolgens ging ik naar Trustpilot en zag honderden vergelijkbare verhalen over oplichting. Ik vond ook een e-mail in mijn inbox van het bedrijf dat het contract daadwerkelijk had overgenomen. Ik eis dat u mij het volledige bedrag terugbetaalt en uw afspraak annuleert.

I was contacted by phone by representative of the company. They said that my solar panels installer went bankrupt and that if I dont schedule appointment with them the solar panel will be cut off and stop working. They said that they are taking over the contract from previous company and need to do inventarisation. They had my email, phone, home address and they knew company that installed solar panels.
I was urged to make an appointment and pay.
Then I got the call from planning department. They did not mention anything about taking over the contract providing warranty and on question if the panels will work if I dont have appointment they said probably yes. I tried to get straight replies but did not get any, lady from planning department suggested to talk to the person during appointment.
Then i went on trust pilot and saw hundreds of similar stories with scam. I also found an email in the inbox from the company that actualy took over the contract. I demand that you fully refund me and cancel your appointment.

My Solar panel installer had gone bankrupt and Green Consultancy had somehow got my number and a representative called me up to tell me that I had to pay for inspection of my solar panel installation so the maintenance could be transferred to another company. This would cost 249 euro.

When the appointment took place it was actually a "consultation" on my energy consumption and recommendations for saving money. The person who came to meet me was not from Green Consultancy but another company, and was totally unaware that I was expecting a solar panel installation inspection!

On the plus side, I found the consult very useful and may follow up with their recommendations but as the basis of the appointment was a lie; minimum score for Green Consultancy.

Can this company please go bankrupt? Keep calling pretending to be Sunleaves.

The same story, as mentioned by many other customers.
I was called by an employee of Green Consultancy. His message was: the company Sunleaves, that had installed the solar panels on your house, had bankrupted. The company that will take over their business requires a check-up of the solar panels on your roof and a report to be made. Otherwise, that company will not be able to continue the maintenance and guarantee obligations of the bankrupted company.

I agreed, made an online appointment, and paid on-spot ca. 250 Euro for the necessary tests and the report. Shortly afterwards, I came across many complaints by disappointed customers about Green Consultancy. As it appeared, their meeting with the Green Consultancy representative had nothing to do with Sunleaves and the report, but was about advising on investing in home battery, heat-pump, etc.

Having read that, I approached Green Consultancy asking for clarification and demanding cancellation of the appointment made, should it not be about the technical condition of my solar panels and the report for Sunleaves’ successor. In reply, I did not receive any clear answer to my inquiry, only a message informing me that my appointment would indeed be cancelled but I would not get any money back, as I signed online and, according to the agreement conditions, after having signed no restitution can be made. I wish to stress that the cancellation conditions were not presented to me clearly by the employee who called me and rushed me to sign online in his presence.

I look now at the replies of Green Consultancy to customers complaints and see all the same: "we made it clear that we were not installers of solar panels". This is true but you have simply cheated about Sunleaves and the prolongation of guarantee rights. Two simple questions to you:
1. Do you record the telephone calls you make to your expected customers?
2. How did you get in possession of the customers directory of Sunleaves?

I was assisted by an advisor for the sustainability improvement for my home! The advice was extremely helpful, I was informed that I should install a heat pump and a dongle for my solar panels so that once I feed the energy back to the grid, it will automatically switch off. They explained it extremely simple for-me and were very friendly during our conversation!
