Used it for over 2 years now, functionality is limited, price is fine, but I rather pay a little more and get a better solution. Once you run into an issue, do not expect customer support to step in, radio silence.
They do not offer e-facturation yet for businesses that have an e-commerce store. What if you have B2C and B2B clients? too bad, no solution. They do not even allow you to correctly track stock across markets if you have several warehouses with the same product. It just substracts it from the default warehouse.
Looking to switch asap to other alternatives.

+++edit 02/12/2025 +++ finally got all the answer I needed and quick friendly support today. It has been over two weeks though and it has been difficult to get support before. However, I like the portal itself very much, it works very well. And they deserve a better rating after reaching out to me today, so upgrade to three stars and if their service improves absolutely five.

Really poor service.
Trying to set up a plan and it always force you to take something more expensive than what you need.
when you want to explain it... the AI agent just drives you crazy repeating the same.
impossible to talk to a real person.
Really don't recommend to choose Holded.

This software is the worst part of my job, i resent it so much that i make sure that invoice and expense as little as possible just to avoid using it.
Reconciling anything in a currency that differs from the current that my bank account is in is an utter pain.
All my expenses are in dollars, but my account is in euros.
This software is expensive and costs me days every month in which I should be doing my actual job/trade.
Worst of all, migrating away from it looks like it is going to cost me days.
Any features that look like they would save you any time are always on the next paid tier up and frankly paying this company feels worse that paying the taxman.
Finally, the amount of bugs I have bumped into make me wonder if they are running any form of automated tests when doing releases.

I just started testing it and I can not even upload bank statements. Site is slo, don't even let me download templates, or access "import" area. No support at alI. Probably a way to force you to contract "premium support". Trying to figure it by myself.

I’ve been using Holded for years, and calling it mediocre is being generous. The software works more or less fine, but there are plenty of areas that could be improved. On top of that, they hardly release any useful updates anymore, only paid "gems".
Recently, customer service has become nearly nonexistent — they reply after a week, if they even reply at all.
Lastly, it’s extremely expensive for what it offers. I keep using it out of laziness to migrate to better software, but it’s going from bad to worse.

UPDATE: Sorry, but the “issue” has not been fully resolved, yet, as the reply to my review indicates. I’m still waiting to receive an email that was sent, allegedly, over 17 hours ago (still haven’t gotten it), and I still don’t have any idea if/how the invoicing situation will be resolved… But thank you for providing me with an answer that supports the claims I made in my review 🙏🏼

I've been using Holded since August 2024 (over 7 months now) and I have to be brutally honest: their service has gotten progressively worse as the months go by. The software is good (very good) but the poor service taints everything. I'm sure you can still find my previous 5 star review somewhere here... I take it ALL back. Customer Support is non existent.
After you get the most irrelevant and unnecessary replies from their chat bot, you finally have the honor of speaking with a human being (if you're lucky, cause I'm going on day 5 without any reply or acknowledgement from them). Some of them have been helpful but, most of the times, it ends in people blaming other department or telling you to "contact X department" because they can't help you.
If you call them on the phone, the exact same thing happens. You can ONLY speak to the Sales Dept... even if the recording says to "dial 2 for Support", which leads to another recording saying that the only way to get support is through the chat bot. But the Sales department can't really answer anything other than Sales so they will, once again, redirect you to someone who won't be able to provide you an answer until the Support chat decides to provide you with one.
One of the things I learned today, only because an invoicing and number of users issue, is that if you have more Users than your plan allows, you're automatically blocked from using almost ALL the other functions you pay for in your subscription (I can't even make an invoice). Also, I learned that they can automatically invoice you for the User Pro gems when you add more employees to your company but they can't do the same when adding new Users (ergo, why they block the access to paid functions even if you're already paying for the subscription). It's icky behavior, I'm sorry.
So, to summarize, I can't use the software I pay a monthly fee to use until someone from a specific team (a team I still don't know how to reach) allows me to add a new user to my plan (which I want and need and have not once refused to pay for), because that's not something they can automatically do... like how they automatically can for so many other things.
It's a very good software, and it saves me a lot of time but I don't know how much longer it will be a viable option with the current lack of transparency, response and support.

I've been using Holded for about 6 months now. It has not been able to to sync to my bank account for 3 of those months. Despite raising complaints about it, nothing is done to resolve it

Good product but its customer services is a joke!. Its customer service is worse than any other big IT. When you get your account manager they dont even reply to your emails. Have a look at some other optioms in the market.

For at least 4 years, I have been asking these guys to synchronise bank accounts in Luxembourg (mostly the same as in France or Germany) and for help to have the same items in the Plan Comptable.
Nothing was done. They do not really care about the client, and now they became IA driven (chat) and much more expensive. Do not look at HOLDED if you are working in France, Germany, Belgium, or Luxembourg.
After my previous bad review, holded contacted me and informed me of all the modifications and improvements that were in progress and those that would come in the future. They are working hard and very fast to correct all the shortcomings. There is no doubt that it will be one of the reference tools in the cloud.
