I wanted one document and inadvertently signed up for a subscription at $49.00 per month. This was put on my credit card and I finally cancelled it 8 months later. I called to complain and the rep explained that I would have had to make numerous decisions to add a subscription. I wanted one document so I would not have done that. No help with any refund. BE CAREFUL!
I paid but have yet to start completing the document so I canlt rate the experience.

I needed 1 form and paid for a plan for $49.99. After noticing they billed me for multiple months, I called in and they said no, you selected a 7 day free trial so after that it auto renews at $49.99/month. We have a second plan that does not come with a free trial that is $49.99 for just 1 month. I explained that I did not intend to sign up for reoccurring months. I thought it was one month of service as I downloaded one form and have not logged in since. You can review my account and verify this is accurate. I have not been the account since August. The customer service rep response was "We don't care if you used it or not, you signed up for it. We have been doing this since 2002 and have never refunded anyone more than one month of credit."
It was clear to me at that point this was the game on the table for them and they knew they were being deceptive. I informed her that was very disappointing and not a professional business practice or customer service response.
After hanging up, I then looked up the company and tons of complaints against them on various sites and with the BBB for the exact issue. Lesson learned as I should have done my research on the company prior to paying them.

Great service - easy to use.
Terrible customer service. Standard bot responses. Sneaky billing and subscription renewal. Inflated prices on renewal compared to the purchase price.
UPDATE - initial response from customer service felt robotic; however, they did reach out with an email and requested further info. They were agreeable and empathetic to the situation. After review, they agreed to refund the monthly fee. A reasonable resolution.

Their "free trial" is sneaky and they don't send receipts out when they charge you each month. The cancellation process is difficult. They've left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be using them again. Beware!

Shady scum have been robbing me of $50 a month with no recompense when I noticed the error. Shame on the criminals who make money on forgetful consumers.

Excellent comprehensive service. I tried similar sites, and the questions asked by this site were much more comprehensive resulting in a stronger contract.
