The discounts are really good as well as the yarns. My husband liked it so much when he saw the yarns I’ve bought for me that he asked me where to buy them.
The only thing that it’s not so good is that the delivery time it’s not always accurate and therefore, you don’t know for sure when to expect the package.

My order came, slow but as to be expected shipping from Denmark. It’s weird that the website I ordered from showed up like its a franchise in the Netherlands, but now I reckon it’s just a Dutch version from the danish company.
I ordered from them a few years ago and everything was fine. This shipment lacked one skein and it’s questionable if I was sent the right needles or not.
So I emailed straight away, gotta a auto reply. Emailed again 2 days later, same auto reply. Decided to wait a bit longer (11days) still no reply. Send them the returnlabel and asking for a refund before I ship the skeins I do not want anymore as I’ve ordered from a different place in the meantime so I could get on with my project.
Dishonest and disrespectful
This company is unreliable and dishonest. They delayed my delivery, I requested a return, they wanted to charge me for the return, which I refused because it's against the law. Then they sent me a return label that doesn't work, and almost a month later they still haven't sent me the correct one. Now they don't even respond to my emails. Dishonest, disorganized, and unprofessional. I want to return the product and get my money back.
happy overall, a serious business
took 6 days for delivery to be completed (understandable due to whether conditions and apparently a lot of traffic due to their january sale). got a bit scared after ordering and seeing all these negative reviews here. they are not a scam business at all! they are just based in Denmark with a site fully in Dutch. everything came carefully packed and I am super happy with the products and prices. I don't know whether the 2-3 days delivery can be achieved during regular times of the year. but I can't imagine someone having such a serious wool emergency that they can't wait a few days extra
Delayed shipping despite paying for expedited service, damaged goods received, unresponsive customer service
I placed an order on November 28, 2025 and paid extra for expedited 2-4 day international shipping. The label was not printed until December 7, the package shipped on December 8, and I did not receive it until December 29—over one month after ordering.
When I checked the tracking, the package appeared stuck in customs with no updates for a couple of weeks. I contacted FedEx and learned there was a claim opened on the package on December 17 that I did not file. When I reached out to the company for information on December 23, they provided a vague response saying they had contacted FedEx but did not answer my questions about the claim or the delay.
Additionally, when I checked with FedEx for additional details, I discovered the company used a slower, cheaper shipping service than what I paid for. FedEx also said the claim was related to incomplete information from the shipper.
The package finally arrived on December 29, very beat up and with some yarn sticking out. Luckily, everything looked okay except for two Lindehobby-branded skeins of white raffia yarn. Those arrived with black ink stains throughout from the product label rubbing off during shipping. This yarn is paper-based and cannot be washed, making it unusable. I emailed the company on December 29 with photos of the damage, requesting either a refund for the damaged items or information on how to proceed. It has been a couple of days with no response.
Please help me resolve these issues:
1. Refund for the two damaged raffia yarn skeins
2. Partial or full refund of the expedited shipping fee, as I did not receive the service I paid for
3. Acknowledgment and response from the company regarding these issues
Total absence of customer service (and my order)
I placed an order on November 30th and am still waiting for my parcel to be shipped. Emails to Lindehobby's general support address have gone unanswered; they seem uninterested in providing any customer service or shipping in the timely manner promised on their website. The chirpy marketing emails I have received (and that I definitely didn't sign up for) since sending my inquiry put a bad taste in my mouth.

I've had perfectly adequate experiences with them in the past but it seems they've changed quite a bit recently.
Will update review when (or if, judging by other reviews) the matter is resolved.

I eventually got a reply to my attempted cancellation after they shipped the package. The reply was a standard 'we are experiencing some delays currently' and did not actually reply to my questions. I have accepted the package, but do not feel this is proper customer service.
Store does not respond
The delivery took longer then advertised, and once my package was received, it was in a very bad condition and missing an item.

Unfortunately with yarn you need to have everything from the same batch so my project is now ruined due to the bad service

WHAT customer service? For heavens sake?
For heavens sake ... the quality & price of this companies product is not in question ... their customer service is! On previous occasions my wife has bought their wool and used it effectively BUT returning their product is always a nightmare. Unless you know exactly how the colour on your screen is referenced in real life NEVER risk having to return anything. Last time it took an inordinate number of emails and a long time waiting to get a refund ... simply expecting the date of refund to be based on delivery to their UK hub is not enough! You have to wait for it to be forwarded on from the UK hub to Holland ... and the returnds process on line is a nightmare ... ONLY ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY BEING 100% SURE YOU WILL HAVE NOT MISTAKEN THE COLOUR REFERENCE IS WRONG. Incidentally we have professional screens here and the colour of the actual wool has for the second time been a surprise. In our case we will simply buy new wool from them and endure their horrendous "returns" process again ... it really shouldn't be like this! Once bitten - twice shy ... this really has to be the last time we use them.
Receiving you order takes forever
The website says shipping takes 2-4 days, I assumed that's how long it takes to receive the items. What they mean is, they will ship it within 2-4 days. Then it takes another 9-16 days to actually receive it. Since the website is in Dutch with a .nl address, I thought they were in the Netherlands, but they're not. Still, I don't see why it should take up to 3 weeks to get a few balls of yarn delivered, Denmark is not THAT far away. Also, they don't respond to emails.

I placed an order for macrame cords on April 4th, and as of today, I still haven’t received my items. I sent an email on April 5th to ask some questions and received no response. I also filled out the contact form on their website and, again, got no reply. There is no phone number available to reach them, which makes the situation even more frustrating. At this point, I have no idea what to do or how to get any updates on my order. Very disappointing experience.
Worst yarn shop experience in the Netherlands
I placed an order on February 22, 2024, for four skeins of yarn and a bottle of wool wash, totaling €75.05. When I picked up the package on March 1st, only two skeins and the wool wash were inside.
I contacted customer service immediately, followed up again a few days later, and even sent a final warning on March 11. It is now April, and I’ve been completely ignored. No refund, no missing items, no explanation.
This is, without a doubt, the worst online yarn shop in the Netherlands. No other online shops have ever taken my money and not delivered what I paid for. I’m now forced to report them to ConsuWijzer, and I strongly encourage anyone else who had a bad experience with Lindehobby to do the same.
