Scam
Good logo but terrible trademark infringement scam. Avoid if you don’t want to be constantly bombarded
Great service but scummy tactics.
Great service but scummy tactics.
I ordered a logo from them more than a year ago, the service itself was iffy, but the end result was fantastic - so I let it slide.
Roll on to a few months ago, "Logomatics" / "Logo Design Pros" emailed me in regards to a trademark request. I politely informed them that I do not wish to register one, as I am not currently using the business (that I got the logo made for).
They repeatedly insisted that it is a legal requirement, and I forfeit my usage of the logo if the "other party" is interested in the trademark. After multiple messages they left me alone.
Then tonight I receive another of the exact email, so I decide to Google it. Only to find many others have suffered the same issue, I guess it's their attempt to suck more money out of prior customers.
To top it off, they've repeatedly tried to call me asking if I want another logo.
Scummy..
Logo trademark scam
Used the once 10 years ago and now they keep sending me emails about a logo I had done and it infringes on someone else, which it doesn't. So I'm posting here again and reported it to the US government scam alert department. I will continue to. Please do the same.

I was actually satisfied with the service I received a few years back. I asked for a number of revisions and they were all acted on quickly until I was happy with the final result. I didn't go for the cheapest option on offer which may have helped. However I too have been getting hassled about trademark infringements and getting the hard sell without any specifics.
Scam artist!
Used them a few years ago to create a logo. After failed attempts, I created the logo and asked them to format for me. Fast forward a few years, they keep sending emails about trademark infringement:
Hi,
We have received an application to register the trademark for the same business name as yours.
Upon searching the business name in our database, your information popped up, since we have designed your logo. Therefore, as our Company's policy for this coincidence, we are giving you the benefit to choose, as you are an old client, whether you'd like to register the trademark or not, as we need to respond to the other applicant as well.
The other applicant is all ready to initiate the process, but I need your final words before we proceed with their application.
As per the Act of 1946 §§ 1051 et seq it is mandatory to register your mark to hold the ownership rights federally.
Kindly reach us out ASAP or provide us with the best number and time for the paralegal team to reach you.

Trademark Scam, Reported to FTC!!!!!!
I was contacted by a "Shane Grey" subject claiming to be from "Logometics". This moron couldn't even spell the company name right. He claimed to be from the Legal Department. They, once again, contact me via phone and text about somebody trying to trademark my business name. I already looked into this and know this to be false. The phone number was 209-260-9473. I called him out on his BS, and he said "Anyone can leave reviews online". LMAO this guy is really bad at his job. I reported them to the FTC, and you should too. DON'T FALL FOR THIS TRADEMARK SCAM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Trademark scam
I created a logo with them few years back, recently They tried to scam me with registration a trademark through them, apparently I have 48 hours before they take legal action. I have sent the text messages to our police department as well as I’ll take further actions against them.
Scam alert logos and trademark filing
They were good when I asked them to do something for me. Recently they tried a logo, register a trademark scam. Watch out.
Report them to the FTC for scamming!
I received the same trademark scam just like plenty of other people! I reported them to the FTC, and you should do the same! It's probably the only way to stop them! Bunch of scammers!
SCAM ALERT!!! Don't fall for the trademark scam!
SCAM ALERT!!!! I had them make a logo for me years ago. They tried to text and email me claiming that someone else was trying to trademark my logo. I tried calling Logomatics and got a call center over in india. They didn't even use their business name when they answered!
As I thought, this was most likely a scam. I went ahead and did some digging. I typed in "Logomatics" on Google and the first thing that came up for the automatic search was "Logomatics Trademark Scam". Got them! The first link was to trustpilot and plenty of negative reviews showing that they are running this scam for plenty of people. The person, Dave, who was supposedly on the legal team for this company, was using car salesman tactics to try to pressure me into trademarking my logo from several years ago! This is a scam! Stay as far away as you can! Don't fall for this scam!
Like alot of others lately
Like alot of others, got email about trademark, I responded via email that I was operating under that name, and within a minute, I got a call from a washington state # trying to push me in to trademarking with them since I already had the name and another client is trying to trademark it.
He even said its a win win situation for them, either I register it, or the others will and I had 2 days to decide.
I also went out to the logomatics website and couldnt find trademark registration as even one of their offerings.
I called and yes it is logomatics doing this, the person that picked up found me in the system and that the person I spoke to does work for them
I used logomatics for a logo for another venture, and they did ok, but this has turned me off on them completely. below is the email, everything about it felt like a high pressure used car saleman. And like others have said I got the distinct feeling from accent it was an outsourced call center
Greetings!
Hope you are doing well,

Business Development Manager I Logo Matics
I had them create a Logo 4 years ago
I had them create a Logo 4 years ago, today they called trying to convince me that I needed to register my company as a trademark. After I interrogated them for 15 minutes, it turns out that this company was given my info by the real Logo Matics, and their goal is to have me pay them hundreds of $$ to registrer my trademark, when in fact if this is true, I can register my trademark for $79.00. Do not do business with LoGo Matics, since they sell your info to crooks trying to make an extra buck!
From Logo Cleanup to Threats to Extortion
I created a simple logo and used it for ten years. I found this company online and hired them to have an artist (who I was aware was in India or Pakistan) clean up and tweak my design a little in 2018. He was weak but I am creative so it got finished to my satisfaction. I received an email from someone claiming to be Jason at Logomatics on Dec. 22, 2021 stating, ''We have received an application to register the trademark for the same Business name and Logo as yours, Upon searching the Business Logo in our database, your information popped up. As per the Act of 1946 §§ 1051 et seq it is mandatory to register your mark to hold the ownership rights federally." RED FLAG! I called and Jason told me someone in NC was trying to register my logo and business name. I questioned this a lot, asking many questions. He asked me to go to the US Patents and Trademarks website to see the fixed costs for trademark application. Finally, he told me I had until RED FLAG! Friday (Christmas Day) to make up my mind or they would register my logo and business name to the other person(s). I hung up quickly because it seemed odd and I thought I had to figure the thing out quickly. Jason texted several unfriendly things to me RED FLAG. I did some online searching and learned, eventually, that registering my logo and business name is not really a bad idea but it is not as complicated as Jason made it sound. One company shared the categories with me readily. Jason had told me I must pay him RED FLAG! to register both items in two categories, each with a separate processing fee for a total of $1800 or he would begin registration for the other person(s) RED FLAG! I called Logomatics during business hours to ask whether they had people calling about trademark registration. The phone was answered without the person using the company name RED FLAG! He quickly knew who I was. I asked why I was seeing a vacant lot for their address when I looked them up online. I asked for their real address. He insisted it is in Phoenix, Arizona but would not give me another address RED FLAG! He mispronounced Phoenix! RED FLAG! When I pressed on for the company address, he said he was transferring me to the legal department. I held on the line for about a minute before the call was ended--by them, not me! I continue to receive threatening text messages from the man called Jason. I believe they are in India, Pakistan, or some other country in that general area, using an American phone number. Both men I spoke to had accents sounding like they came from that part of the world. I've spent a lot of time there. I do not recommend doing any sort of business with this company. I believe this is a scam to ''drum up some business''--the illegal way.
This company attempts to coerce clients…
This company attempts to coerce clients into registering their trademarks through them. I paid them many years ago to design a logo. This year they told me that they have another client for which they will proceed with a trademark registration using my logo if I do not use their services. It appears this company is knowingly registering an existing company's works of art to other unsuspecting companies.
My recommendation is to stay away from them. We intend on suing the company for its illicit practices.
I'm not sure whats happened as we used to use this company but after this untrustworthy experience, we have notified all the companies in our portfolio to not do business with them.
Trademark Scam / Threats
On Nov 30th, I received an email from someone in their legal department (strange for a tiny logo company) that another client of theirs was going to trademark my business word mark and since I was an older client (had a logo made in 2019) that they would let me process the trademark before the new client. I didn't see the email initially.
Then on December 3rd, I got a text message from Zoe Morgan, a paralegal from Logomatics (also very strange) bringing up the same issue. I thought it was very strange but I was concerned. I did my best to confirm she did work at the company. She sent me what I assume is a photoshopped screenshot of the USPTO website with the trademark application as I cannot find it myself. The statistical odds of two companies across the country using the same business name and the same logo design company seems impossible. I think they are going through their client list looking for those who haven't trademarked their info and trying to scare us into the $1249 fee for filing. I'll be sending the communication to the proper authorities. These people should be avoided at all costs!
BEWARE, possible scam
I am not sure what is going on with logo Matics but when you call there the person answering says it is the legal department. They do not say Logo Matics at all. Not sure what is going on whether logomatics was set up to scam people or they sell your information, or if someone has hijacked their phone number to commit fraud.
In any case, a Zoe Morgan has sent me a text message claiming to be from logomatics paralegal department (*cough) like as if a logo company is going to have one of those!!
In any case, pure scam artist I am sure. I have sent the text messages to our police department as well as the federal government and the better business bureau.
If you call the number on their website, they answer as the legal department, if you call their toll free line an answering service picks up and talks about insurance.
So either the company has been set up to scam people, or someone hijacked the numbers. In any case, customer be very aware.
Not good at logo design
Not good at logo design. Did not take direction very well and did not make the correct revisions. Also, very unprofessional Mike Thomas in the legal dept. Has no idea what he is doing.
