Cant get in touch with anyone .. they use their online chat ONLY - no phone numbers, no emails, they claim to solve your problems quickly via the chat, Ive been waiting all day no one came online. Tried so many times with zero help. I feel scammed genuinely. Wouldnt reccomend this company even if it is the cheapest out there. HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE.

Impossible to contact Luko…
I have been trying to contact Luko customer services for months. My app is not working, i have tried everything, reinstalling app, sending messages etc but it always says ' something went wrong, try again' ! .
I was charged by luko between September 2025 and 31st December 2025 . But I have also received a bill and legal threats from my old insurance for the same period for €163.32 because they are saying that Luko did not send them the paperwork until 31st December 2025.
I am now having to to pay twice between September and December, which I am told is illegal. So I need either Luko to refund me up until 31st December 2025, or Luko to help me get the demand for the €163.32 from my old insurer "allianz Pierre Andouard EI 53500 Ernee" cancelled and their legal demands to stop. I am very frustrated and not being able to communicate with Luko by text or tekephone , it is extremely unhelpful as a client. I also do not speak fluent French so its even more difficult because while the website translates, the app does not and once you are a customer you have to use the app. You cannot do anything via the website unless you are a new customer, so it's a trap. I think I will need to find a new insurance company to resolve everything.
So far it has cost me €163.32 more to move provider, so zero savings plus alot of stress and aggrivation.So my old insurer has charged me around 50% of the old annual fee for only 3 months without explanation?? Its a nightmare. Moving service providers in France is very difficult and they trap clients by their beurocracy so they can keep tgeir high profits and make moving not worth the effort.

I would give 0 if that was possible. The worst insurance company I have ever had. Problems start when the amount of compensation is 5000€ or more. Countless e-mails sent via Luko and Allianz. These companies are not merged properly, it has been constant back and forth of emails between them and you need to wait them answering seeing only that no one takes responsibility of the whole. Luco customer service told me even that I can't send them e-mails anymore. Their statistics look better when they closed my case before it was acually handled. They also involved Syndic’s insurance company trying to decide who is paying and how much. This whole process took almost a year. Next issue was renovation work that needed to be resolved as the compensation from the insurance was not even close to what the actual cost was. I was willing to use their contract company but I was told that I can’t get the same good quality materials that I have used before. There was also an issue of not hearing anything from this company who was supposed to do the works so I hired the company that I had used before.
After all this pain, I have been waiting my compensation for 2 months now.
This whole process was too long and I am just wondering if they try to delay it on purpose or are some companies really incredibly unefficient and lack proper customer service?

short-term insurance
Hello,
The process was not very easy. I am staying in France for only 2 months and was looking for short-term insurance. However, since English was not available, I had to handle the call in French and ended up subscribing to a 12-month plan for tenant insurance.
I would like to know if it is possible to cancel the remaining months of the insurance when I leave France after 2 months.

If I could put a half star or even none it would give them the right rating. One of the worst insurance ever. I have terminated my contract and the balance is in my favor. Since july 2025 we are having a ping pong mails for the refund and yet nothing received.
Be aware of this type of insurance who tries to steal you. There are more reliable and genuine insursnce companies in France

We’ve not claimed anything, but the service so far and pricing is good.

Oh they can collect money well ahead of time.
However they are totally inefficient in dealing with a claim. You can tell they want you to go away.
They don’t read the information sent and keep asking the same questions and requesting the same documents.
They want a photo of an electrical damage!! Duh
