I came across Maven through a post on Instagram.

Over time, I’ve tried pretty much every prop firm out there and have successfully received payouts from several of them. However, lately I’ve noticed that with some firms, you practically need a university degree to understand the rules — and maybe even detective training to figure out what’s really going on behind the scenes.

Maven, on the other hand, seems to have a very cool and transparent model. I also really liked the CEO in the video — he came across as authentic and confident, which definitely builds trust. So I decided to give it a try.

The dashboard looks great, the spreads are excellent, and the rules are clear and easy to understand — no detective license required.

Let’s see how it goes, but so far, I’m impressed.

Very disappointed with the KYC verification process.
I legitimately passed the One-Step challenge (consistent IP from my current country, payment with local card, no breaches). I submitted a valid passport from my nationality of origin and proof of temporary residence in the selected country (tourist visa + bank statement as address proof).
However, because I chose the current country at checkout (an honest mistake, as I’m only temporarily here on a tourist visa and not a permanent resident), they refused to verify and insisted on a local-issued ID (driver’s license or equivalent), which I do not have and cannot obtain as a temporary visitor.
Support refused to update the country selection or make any exception, despite all evidence confirming it’s me trading. No refund was offered for the challenge fee after fair completion.
This seems like a rigid technical mismatch that unfairly blocks honest international traders. I suggest carefully reviewing KYC requirements before buying

DO NOT TRUST MAVEN TRADING! They stole my $400 challenge fee through a massive Technical Failure. My account hit a ridiculous negative balance of -$4,515 because their auto-liquidation system is broken.

One of the worst Propfirm they have a lot of slippage to hit stoploss. And their team said we have no control on Slippage. I have been working with 3 prop firms only. Maven have vast slippeg issue. I have all screenshot my stop loss hit after 40 pip my acual stoplos were 50pip o gold but when hit my loss was 90 pip. honestly i didnot reccommed to buy any challange

I had a very positive experience with Veritas Redreșs. Their team was efficient, reliable, and made the entire recovery process stress-free.

I took the instant funding account of20,000$ with maven trading. Followed all the rules,Completed all the needful required for payout. When i requested my payout on 28 January 2026, It is my first payout with maven trading. During the KYC i provided all my documents but it took almost a week today to verify but they didn't verified today it's 6 Feb 2026, their support team says my documents are invalid. These are the original document I have received from government office. I've mailed them but still no proper response or support from them.

I passed my two challenge phase and got funded with maven,I had some profit and made my first withdrawal which dey payed within four hour.Now it's been three days I made my second withdrawal maven has failed to process my withdrawal,their team are not helping me or do they send my money😥 i will update this review once my payment is completed.

This is a scam they breached my account without any reason, I purchased a 5k account and took 3 trades, I was up 3%, I lost only 1 trade and which was $71 yet they told me that I reached daily drawdown,, avoid them at all cost, they are after your money

I’ve been trading 10 years this April and if you want a honest, genuine prop firm then Maven is the one.
I’ve just got funded with them, not yet received a payout from Maven but will update once I do.

Worst propfirm ever they rejected my kyc after all the hard work to pass all the phases they said I was not the owner of the account yet I used my details to complete the kyc process I used my on details that are on my national Identity card be careful guys with this firm they said the account is not mine because I was with a friend during the submission of the kyc which is not a reason to reject my kyc my documents met the requirements of there kyc verification yet they claimed account belongs to someone else and my id clearly shows who is the real owner of the account and the support is very slow taking hours to reply with only vague responses just because someone was next to me during kyc process they say the account is not mine please be careful guys of this propfirm they will waste your time and money

I would like to share my experience for transparency.

After several attempts, I successfully passed Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the evaluation. However, after completing Phase 2, I received an email stating that my account had failed due to “gamifying,” without a clear explanation of what specific rule or violation was committed.

Prior to this, I had a one-to-one interview with their team where my trading strategy, risk management, and overall approach were discussed and approved. I continued trading using the same approved strategy, which makes the final decision confusing and disappointing.

I requested clarification, but no detailed explanation was provided. I believe traders should be aware of this lack of transparency before committing time and money.

How did your stupid system hit my daily drawdown? I work with so many companies and calculate the same drawdown, but there is no problem anywhere. Your dashboard is so stupid that I can't understand anything there. All the order numbers you are showing have been closed at profit gain. How did you hit the daily drawdown? And if that is the case, why didn't you crash my account? Why are you harassing us so much?? Why is your system so stupid? We can't work with you like this!! I definitely want an answer!!! I didn't get anything on my dashboard, I didn't get it on the trader, now you are talking about daily drawdown??? I need to know how? Stupid dashboard and support system.

I am writing this to warn other traders about the technical traps used by Maven.
I recently lost an account due to their predatory secret rules.
I passed their First and second phases when this Maven of a firm were asleep
Only for them to wake up and fail my challenge

Their reasons ( I traded news)
After proving them wrong, they said I should start a fresh

In the rerun account, this people set their slippage on roof, I had a Stop Loss set at a $100 loss, but the trade was closed at $150—an extra $50 loss just from poor execution/spread widening.
In a prop firm environment where every dollar counts toward your drawdown, this kind of slippage is a death sentence for any account.
If you are looking for a fair trading environment where your Stop Loss is respected, look elsewhere. Maven is budget-friendly to enter, but they make it technically impossible to stay funded.
Avoid Maven at all cost for your peace of mind please!!!

You see the indeth issue that they won't tell you about is their time wasting tactics of "Pretending" to have your situation under control and them c9ming onto the pilot platform answering questions of traders in grief. It's a time wasting tactic, they dont sort your issue out they just answer your questions on the review to "MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THEY ARE ONTO IT". A Blasphemous trait I first handedly experienced and still am Experiencing!. So maven " we see you"
. I hope those reading the reviews of others and thinking they eventually get sorted out because they "Respond" to them know that ITS NOT TRUE. I'm still waiting on a refund they promised 7 days ago... and they had the audacity to say "our team has responded to the situation" just so they could look like their "OPERATING" on good business ethics. That company gotta stop tormenting people.

They are scammers, when your trade is running in profit, they will pause the live system and you cannot exit the profit running trade as the button will not work and will show as market closed and as soon as it will go in loss and the exit button will work

My experience with Maven has been very disappointing. Phase 1 worked fine and execution felt normal. However, once I moved to Phase 2, technical issues started immediately.

I tried to close a trade, but the system didn’t execute properly and the trade slipped into loss, which eventually caused my account to breach. I had a stable internet connection and no issues on my side.

Contacting support didn’t help much. The responses felt generic and scripted, with no real resolution or accountability for what happened during execution.

After this experience, I personally wouldn’t recommend Maven to serious traders. What looks good in Phase 1 doesn’t match the conditions in Phase 2, and that inconsistency is risky.

Trade carefully and do your own research before joining.
