Definite scammers - do not touch them, they will tell you that the order is delayed, we ordered back in Nov'25, its Feb'26 and still no product just excuses. We now ask for a refund which they say now will take time because they are too busy, so more delay tactics - and yet they keep trying to offer another product...stay clear of these guys.
Very bad communication and so far undelivered. I bought a pergola on the 10th of January this year expecting it to be delivered with in 3 to 5 days. One month later I am still waiting. I called after one week and I was told it was being shipped from the supplier and would arrive in the UK in 2 weeks. Now I am trying to progress my order. No reply on the chat bot. No reply from my emails and the phone number has been unavailable for the last 4 days. Don't go there.
My order #UKP121017 was back in September last year, I received emails, last being end of Oct from Fiona apologising for delays and promising some free extras. She estimated I would receive before Xmas. I have since sent a few emails to Fiona this year and still no response.
I’m starting to think I’ve been scammed.
I ordered the wrong colour and contacted the support team who changed the order to the colour I wanted. My umbrella and arrived quickly, looks great, quality build. Very happy with my purchase and customer support.
We ordered a gazebo from Patioslife earlier this year. The website was easy to use, and communication stayed clear and straightforward from start to finish—no chasing needed.
Delivery took about a week, which seemed reasonable for the size. The box arrived in good shape, everything inside was well-packed and accounted for.
My son helped me assemble it one Saturday. It took longer than expected (we had to double-check a few steps), but the instructions were clear and all parts fit properly—no forcing anything.
Now that it's up in our southern Ontario backyard, it feels solid and gives really good shade. We've been spending more time outside: morning coffees, reading, watching the grandkids play. It handles the breezy afternoons fine.
Still early days, but it's doing exactly what we wanted, and the whole process was low-stress. Quietly pleased with it.
First of all - good things come to those who wait and our umbrella, stand and cover took some time to arrive. So be patient!
But when it did and we assembled it - it is amazing and we are vey happy with our purchase it covers the shallow end of our pool and makes using the pool in the high heat of the day so much safer and more comfortable.
We found Patioslife online while hunting for a good cantilever umbrella for the deck – wanted something reliable that wouldn’t blow away the first time the wind picks up, after our last one gave up the ghost.
After ordering, I got a nice email fairly quickly saying the shipment had been dispatched from their London warehouse (so not overseas at all, which was a pleasant surprise). There was no customs hold-up or anything dramatic – it just took a few extra days to get sorted, but they were upfront about the timeline right away. Honestly, I much preferred knowing exactly what was going on rather than sitting there wondering if the parcel had vanished into the ether.
Once it was on its way, delivery was dead straightforward – tracking was accurate, the driver popped it over the gate nicely, and everything arrived safe and sound, beautifully packed with no scratches or missing bits. We got it set up one sunny Saturday morning with a couple of strong coffees to keep us going (my husband wrestled the pole while I held the base steady and topped up the mugs – our usual Saturday routine!).
Now it’s standing proud on the deck and doing exactly what we needed: lovely deep shade for when the sun finally comes out, crank is smooth as anything, tilts without a fight, and it’s already coped with a couple of blustery afternoons without so much as a wobble. The fabric blocks the glare properly too, so our morning coffees out there (followed by a walk with the dog along the canal) are far more civilised – no more squinting or chasing shade.
Very pleased indeed. The quick dispatch from London, clear heads-up about the short wait, and solid product have made the whole experience lovely and stress-free. I’d happily order from them again.
Ordered a cantilever umbrella earlier this summer. Delivery took a little longer than expected but arrived as promised and in good condition. Assembly was straightforward, though easier with two people.
It provides good shade, adjusts easily, and has stayed stable so far, even on breezy days. The fabric feels solid compared to our previous umbrella. Early days, but it’s doing what we needed it to do.
After reading the amount of negative reviews I was really worried. My wife and I had just placed an order then checked reviews.
However, she contacted the company with our concerns via their chat and I have to say they were very quick to reply. It wasn’t an AI response. Communication with updates was great. The only disappointing part was the size of the umbrella we wanted was not in stock so she was offered the next size up so we agreed to getting that one. It would have been better to have on the Facebook link that the item was not in stock. Apart from that everything arrive within about 10 days and it’s perfect. No complaints here. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the out of stock issue.
We ordered a cantilever umbrella from Patioslife and a day or two later I started fretting that I'd picked the wrong size – our patio's not massive, and I worried the 3m one might be too big or too small for the space.
I fired off a quick email, half-expecting the usual generic "thanks for your enquiry, we'll get back to you" rubbish or some sales push to swap for something pricier.
Instead, they replied properly and promptly – asked a couple of sensible questions about the area (dimensions, what we use it for, any obstacles like tables or plants), then explained the options clearly in plain English. No hard sell, no "you really need the bigger one" nonsense – just straightforward advice on what would fit best without any pressure.
In the end, after chatting it through, I stuck with the original order and honestly, I'm bloody glad I did. It arrived, we set it up last weekend (took a bit of grunting but nothing major), and it covers the space perfectly – good shade without overwhelming the garden. Crank's smooth, tilts nicely, and it's held up in a couple of windy afternoons already.
That one email exchange made all the difference – felt like dealing with decent folk who actually want to help rather than just shift stock. Top marks for the service, mate. Very chuffed with the whole thing now.
FYI if you complain about not getting your order, you'll get a long explanation from Patioslife about excess demand and shipping delays, etc. It sounds plausible and apologetic but it's just an AI bot. If you complain a second time or demand a refund, you'll get a message from the "Australian Marketing Manager" saying of course they can give you a refund but give us another chance to expedite your order. This person does not exist, it's an AI bot. If you continue to demand a refund you get more long messages from the same AI bot. Send them your money at your own peril. If you've paid them, contact your bank immediately. It's a complete and utter scam.
After placing my order for the cantilever umbrella, I started second-guessing myself big time after scrolling through some of those mixed reviews online – you know, the ones where people are complaining about delays or no replies, and I thought, "Oh no, what have I done?" I was proper anxious, pacing around the kitchen like a chook with its head cut off.
So I fired off a quick email to Patioslife, just asking if everything was still on track and not to sugarcoat it. I was half-expecting radio silence or some automated rubbish.
But no – they got back to me really promptly with a proper, straightforward reply in plain English. Explained the order status, the delivery timeline, what to expect next – none of that corporate waffle or brushing me off. It felt like they actually read what I wrote and cared enough to ease my mind.
Honestly, that one email turned the whole thing around for me. I went from fretting and ready to cancel to feeling much more comfortable and confident about the purchase. No more second thoughts! Now I'm just excited for it to arrive and get it set up in the backyard.
Such a relief to deal with a company that communicates like normal people. Very grateful – fingers crossed the umbrella lives up to it too.
We ordered the gazebo right before Christmas, hoping to have it up in time for the holidays and the start of summer, but they warned us there could be delays – and boy, did they happen. Shipping and customs dragged on forever, which had me fuming because I hate waiting around, especially when I’ve got plans! I was checking the tracking obsessively and getting more impatient by the day.
What stopped me from losing it completely was that Patioslife actually kept in touch. Every time there was a hold-up, they sent an email explaining exactly what was going on – no vague “we’re working on it” nonsense, just clear updates with new estimated dates. I even messaged them once or twice when I was getting antsy, and they replied properly fast, which calmed me down a lot more than I expected.
It finally arrived early January (better late than never, I suppose), and we managed to get it assembled over a couple of afternoons – my husband did the heavy bits while I bossed him around with the instructions and made sure nothing went wonky. Everything lined up fine, no missing parts or dodgy fittings, which was a relief after the wait.
Now it’s up in the backyard and honestly, it’s been brilliant for summer already. We’ve had barbecues, lazy afternoons in the shade, and it’s held up perfectly through a couple of those sudden coastal gusts. Feels sturdy and well-made – definitely worth the hassle in the end, even if I did spend half of December tapping my foot.
Very grateful for the communication keeping me sane; it made a frustrating wait bearable.
We put this cantilever umbrella together on a Saturday morning right in the driveway here in central Florida – my wife was out there holding poles steady and handing me tools while I cursed under my breath at the instructions (classic team effort).
First thing I noticed was how heavy that main pole is – way more substantial than the cheap Walmart ones I’ve had before that bend like spaghetti in a breeze. Once we got it cranked up though, it feels rock solid, no wobble at all, like it’s anchored even without the base fully loaded yet.
The fabric’s nice and thick too – real UV-blocking stuff, not that thin see-through junk that turns everything orange underneath. Sun’s brutal down here in the summer, and this actually keeps the patio shady and cool instead of just filtering light.
Crank goes up and down smooth as butter, tilt mechanism doesn’t fight you – one hand does it easy, no jamming or forcing. We’ve already had a few of those gusty afternoon thunderstorms roll through (you know how Florida weather flips in 20 minutes), and the thing hasn’t flinched, no flapping or leaning.
Quality is exactly what I was hoping for after getting burned on cheaper models – this feels like it’ll handle our heat, humidity, and random wind for years. Very happy with it, definitely worth the price.
We had ordered a pergola for the backyard, thinking it would be perfect once the reno was done, but the builders dragged their feet for months and everything got pushed back so far we had to cancel the whole thing. Honestly, I was already at my wits’ end with the dust, the noise, the endless “just one more week” nonsense from the tradies – I was ready to scream!
So when it came time to cancel with Patioslife, I was bracing myself for the usual run-around you get with refunds these days – you know, endless forms, vague replies, waiting forever. But good grief, what a difference! They made the whole process ridiculously straightforward. The lady (or gentleman, whoever it was) explained everything clearly right from the first email – what would happen, how long it would take, no hidden catches. And then they actually did exactly what they said they would! The refund landed in my account bang on time, no silly excuses, no need to chase them up even once.
In the middle of all that renovation chaos, having one company that didn’t add to the stress was an absolute godsend. It’s rare to find service like that these days – prompt, clear, no mucking about. I’m genuinely impressed and more than a little relieved. If we ever get the reno finished (fingers crossed!), I’ll be straight back to Patioslife without hesitation.
We placed an order for the gazebo, knowing it might take a little while since these things sometimes do. but honestly, it arrived much quicker than we’d braced ourselves for – the logistics were spot on, and it turned up within days of dispatch, well ahead of what we’d expected. The packaging was excellent too; everything arrived in perfect condition, no scratches or loose bits, and it all went together beautifully over a couple of afternoons (my husband did most of the heavy lifting while I made the tea and passed the screws – our usual routine!).
Now that it’s set up in the garden, we’re absolutely thrilled with it. It looks so smart, feels really sturdy, and has already transformed the space – we’ve been enjoying our afternoon teas out there and even had a little family gathering last weekend without worrying about the weather.
The quick delivery and lovely communication made the whole experience so straightforward and stress-free. Very happy indeed, and we’d recommend them without hesitation.
We bought this gazebo from Patioslife after going through a few of those cheaper ones over the years – you know, the ones from the big chain stores that start flapping or bending after the first decent blow.
Straight away you can tell this one's a cut above. The frame's solid and heavy, proper sturdy steel or whatever they've used, and everything lines up spot on – no forcing bits together or gaps showing.
My brother came over one Saturday morning and we put it up in the backyard here on the Gold Coast. Took us a leisurely few hours with a cuppa and a yarn, nothing felt flimsy or like it was going to give way. No swearing required, which is saying something for us old blokes.
We've had a couple of those windy days already – you know how it gets here with the sea breeze kicking in off the ocean – and it hasn't budged an inch. Stands there like it's been there forever.
It actually feels like something that's going to last us through retirement – no more replacing every couple of summers. Very pleased with it, good value for the money.
We ordered this cantilever umbrella for the backyard here in Melbourne – figured since it's coming from the local warehouse (or at least Aussie stock), it shouldn't take forever.
Delivery definitely took a bit longer than I'd originally hoped due to some shipping and customs checks (even local-ish stuff can get held up sometimes), but I was a bit nervy after seeing a few mixed reviews online, so I reached out to Patioslife directly to see what was going on.
They replied bloody quick – proper fast, within hours – and explained everything clearly, what the hold-up was and when it'd likely ship. That really put my mind at ease, no fluff or generic answers, just straight facts.
What blew me away though was once it got the green light, the shipping and delivery were way faster than I expected – it rocked up super quick, like a week or less from when they said it was dispatched. Logistics were spot on, tracking accurate, package arrived in mint condition with no dings or missing bits.
Setup was dead easy too (did it myself on a Sunday arvo, no dramas, all parts lined up perfect).
Now it's handling those Melbourne four-seasons-in-one-day weather changes no worries – big shade on the hot days, sturdy in the wind. Super happy with both the umbrella and how the whole thing was managed – the speed of dispatch and arrival far exceeded what I was bracing for. Reckon it's a ripper buy.
We ordered a gazebo for the garden and knew it was being shipped from the UK warehouse (Patioslife has a UK site/domestic setup), so we weren't expecting it to drag on forever.
There were a few minor delays with shipping schedules and customs checks (typical for anything crossing borders these days), but Patioslife kept us properly informed – regular emails with clear updates on what was happening, no faffing about or vague replies.
Communication was consistent and straightforward throughout – whenever we pinged them to ask for an update, we got a sensible response back quickly, nothing brushed off. Made the whole process feel far less annoying.
Then it turned up surprisingly swiftly once it cleared – logistics were spot on, arrived in cracking condition with everything well packed, no damage or missing bits at all. It all slotted together nicely without any major hassle (a Saturday job with a cuppa and a bit of elbow grease).
All in all, a positive experience – the quick-ish delivery from the UK side, solid packing, and decent comms made it worthwhile despite the small wait. Chuffed with the gazebo now it's up; the garden feels much more liveable on these rare sunny days.
After chucking the cantilever umbrella up in the backyard last weekend, I noticed one of the bolts looked a bit off – wasn't sure if it was meant to be like that or if I'd cocked something up.
Snapped a quick pic on me phone and fired off an email to Patioslife, figuring I'd be waiting days for any sort of reply.
Bloody hell, they got back to me the next morning with a clear step-by-step guide – turns out I was just holding the bloody part upside down!Classic me.
Super patient and helpful, didn't make me feel like a complete drongo for asking such a silly question. Really appreciated the quick turnaround and the no-fuss attitude – made sorting it out a breeze. Top service, mate!
