I leased my first bike via Jobrad from Rabe Bike Oberhaching and was shocked by the service. The staff appeared reluctant to assist me. A phone holder I bought the day I got the bike broke after one day and the bike had another issue I reported that was brushed off. After ignored emails, I was insulted by one of their employees in person when I returned but to be fair they did replace the phone holder.
As someone new to cycling, I chose a local bike shop so I could ask questions and get advice—but I would have been better off ordering from an online shop and figuring it out myself. A really disappointing experience.
CUBE Cargo Sport Dual Hybrid 1000 (BOSCH)
I recently purchased an CUBE Cargo Sport Dual Hybrid 1000 bicycle from Rabe-Bike Werkstatt-Neuhaus. When I picked up the bike, the staff was friendly and informative. They gave me a chance to test ride the bike inside the shop.
However, during the test ride, I noticed a couple of issues. The steering felt limited, making it difficult to turn, and the gear shifter took up so much space on the handlebars that I couldn’t comfortably fit my fingers. Since it was my first time trying the bike, I assumed I just needed time to adjust, so I left the shop and drove back to Denmark.
After a few rides, though, the steering issue became so frustrating that I decided to investigate. I discovered that the steering rod was hitting a baseplate that formed part of the cargo area. Upon closer inspection, I found that the baseplate had been mounted incorrectly! I had to disassemble the plate, turn it, and re-adjust the steering myself. Once fixed, I finally had full steering motion. Shockingly, Rabe-Bike had placed a sticker directly on the baseplate where the steering rod was hitting, which suggests they were aware of the issue but didn’t address it before delivering the bike.
The gear shifter issue was next. I discovered that the gear shifter and brake lever had been mounted incorrectly—they were swapped! This poor placement made it impossible for my fingers to fit comfortably on the handlebars. I had to fix this myself by swapping and re-adjusting the components. Once corrected, the handlebar fit was much better.
Then I encountered a potentially dangerous problem with the brake hose. One of the hoses had been routed incorrectly, causing the steering rod to hit it on every turn. Over time, this would have worn a hole in the hose, leading to brake failure. This is a serious safety concern that should never have made it past assembly or quality control.
Finally, I discovered that the left battery (this bike is equipped with two batteries) was not connected. When I contacted Rabe-Bike, they told me to visit a local shop in Denmark for diagnostics. The shop determined that the cable to the left battery was faulty.
I brought all these issues to Rabe-Bike’s attention. Their initial response was that they needed to claim warranty with Bosch and that I would hear back in a couple of weeks. When I didn’t receive any updates, I contacted them again and suggested they send me the replacement cable and a new brake hose so I could resolve the problems myself.
Their first reply was that I should return to the same Danish store for warranty repairs. However, when I called the shop, they informed me they had never been contacted by Rabe-Bike about my case. Since then, I’ve made multiple attempts to contact Rabe-Bike, but they have stopped responding entirely.
My advice to anyone reading this: do not purchase a complex bicycle from Rabe-Bike Werkstatt-Neuhaus. They lack the capability to handle assembly and quality control for advanced bikes, and if you have a warranty issue, you will be left to deal with it on your own.

I purchased an electric bike from this shop, and it arrived on time. My initial impression was positive, but I soon discovered that the model I received was older than what was advertised on their website, and there were several scratches and defects on the bike frame and crankset. I tried to contact them, but they completely ignored my messages. I have lost all trust in this shop and do not recommend it to anyone.
Defect and long reply time - but the problem is fixed
I have ordered a bike from Austria.
The bike came with a defect in the drivetrain.
The first time I contacted RABE support, they sent me instructions after a month. I have followed the instructions but was not able to fix the problem. So, I have contacted them again and they have never answered since then. It was more than two months.
Update: They have reached out and solved the problem fast. Now my bike is perfect :)

Ordered a Cannondale Topstone Carbon gravelbike for delivery to The Netherlands. Took a few days to prepare for shipment but then the bike was delivered the next day. Complete process took less than a week. Bike was very well packaged and without any damage. New 2024 model. Best price I could get. Recommended.
Dispatch slow, delivery quick, quality as it should be
I purchased my new bike from Rabe-bike.de for a very good price (couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else), the delivery (once finally dispatched) was super quick (and free to Austria - quite an exception to the rule with online bike shops). Easy to put together out of the box, the initial setting-up was done to a good standard by Rabe-bike before shipping.
Just prepare to wait patiently for your new bike to be dispatched. It took about a week in my case. During this time, there is no point in calling customer service for info, as they couldn't tell me anything other than the likely delivery day (which was the same as when ordering, and turned out accurate).
Fantastic shop and customer care
I bought a bike on their online shop, and the experience has been great! The bike was delivered in just 4 working days (instead of the 6 to 9 days expected at the time of the order). Also, the bike came perfectly tuned and with clear assembly instructions. I couldn't be happier!

Schwabing Location is top!
I live in Frankfurt but was going to visit a friend in Munich for the weekend. The Trek website showed that the Schwabing location had a bike I was interested in, so I stopped in while I was there to see it. Everyone in this store were absolutely wonderful! They did a bike fitting, answered all my questions, held the bike for me until I could pick it up the next day (I had to get a DB bike ticket which I’d never done before) and were overall such a pleasure to work with. Plus, the bike is the best road bike I’ve ever had!!! The Trek Emonda is SO fun to ride!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Recommend this store for anyone searching for a bike!

I bought a bike online, I spoke with Customer Service representatives the next day and everything was OK.
After one week they announce me that they don't have the bike anymore and they return the money back.
Not recommended at all!
Bike to Denmark
Ordered a bike to ship to Denmark. The bike arrived 8 days after ordering, which I think is very reasonable. Shipping was quite expensive 99 euros. I wrote them an e-mail 4 days after ordering, which I never got an answer to so costumer support might not be the greatest, but the bike got here :)
You really have to avoid the Rabe bike…
You really have to avoid the Rabe bike shop in Munich Sendling. Once you have bought a bike there, the service is non existent. You have to wait 3 months for an appointment. And once you have got one, the service is extremely poor and expensive. I also found the staff there quite arrogant.
Refund approch :-)
I ordered a bike and made a payment on Friday. I cancel my order on Monday. Rabe Bike informed me in a very professional way about my refund. Within 3 days I got my money back. They have great customer service (great English) nice friendly approach :-)

I bought a bike on 3rd of May 2022 from Rabe Bike ( © RABE Fahrradhandel GmbH ) and it arrived 2 days after the purchase. As soon as I opened the package, I found issues with the bike. I directly called the customer service and upon their request, I ride with the bike to the nearest customer service/sale center (Rabe Bike swabbing). Unfortunately they did not provide me with any satisfactory solutions and hence I wrote an official complain email and called them again. After an email communication, which also was unsatisfactory for me, I wanted to return the product and they stated that they will not payback full amount if I ride more than 2 km? This is not indicated in any of the English pages...
Most important of all, Rabe Bike service personnel and/or email support personnel claimed riding with a broken reflector and with other issues was "okay" and possibly put my well being and life at risk.
I will never ever buy from Rabe Bike, because I believe that they put my life at risk, intentionally mislead me by providing different information in English and German versions of their webpage and I believe that they fraudulently concealed the defects in their products by claiming "this errors happen in all bikes", "it is okay", "you are making an issue out of nothing".
No delivery options, bad service
Unbelivable expirience with this bike shop, sometimes I wonder what is the IQ of the person on the other side. I wanted to order a bike from the stock and I asked for a delivery to Croatia. The response was that they not ship to Latvia. That's how they read what you wrote. So I asked again, since I was expecting the same answer I made a suggestion for a delivery to address in Munchen where my friend would take over the bike. The answer was, we do not ship to Croatia and nothing about a delivery to Munchen...that was all.
So I'll spend my money somewhere else if they don't want. I've checked the reviews before and I was surprised with 20% of bad reviews but I decided to give it a go. Now everything is clear.

So to be honest I got a bicycle that had a very slight dent on the frame and had a defect which, however, was a factory defect of the bicycle itself and therefore not attributable to the house that sent it to me, i.e. the Red bike as soon as I reported. of the problems and sent the proofs of the bicycle's defects the owners of the shop immediately mobilized to reimburse me the price of the dent of the bicycle plus the pieces that were damaged by paying all the costs so the bicycle once parade was in perfect condition super helpful despite the fact that I live in Italy and they are in Germany so I must say that they are really a great shop
Excellent communication and speedy delivery
Excellent shop. I was able to set up notifications of when a bike would be back in stock. Once ordered, the communication and speed of delivery were exceptional. Further, there is a host of helpful video tutorials to set up your bike correctly on delivery. Will use again and also look for other bike related items.

Ordered a Cube analog 2021, which was sold out in the Netherlands. Fast delivery en friendly customer service.
Also for NL a great option! Only downside is quite expensive delivery.
UPDATE: customer service is also great.
Worst online experience ever!
Worst online experience ever. After my request for a personal offer, i received an
offer for a new e-mtb by email and before I could reply (on the same day) they sold (my) bike to another. Better leave this shop on the left! My girlfriend and I will spend the more than 8000 EUR for 2 new e-mountain bikes in another shop, where they still treat the customers with respect.
