Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs - the tests are completely inaccurate. I did the Everywoman test. The second part of that test came back with results completely out of whack. I had emailed customer support. Nobody replied until I spent one hour on the phone to chase them again about this. Finally they relented and agreed to do the correct test (having admitted the blood sample was kept outside the fridge too long). The results had scared me SO MUCH. But Random didn't care. I went to do the test again. However they now sent me the link to the previous WRONG results again. And I don't have the correct results. They also called me and told me the urine sample was not refrigerated. So I had to come back and that a urine sample for the THIRD time because they had messed up the previous tests. If you want the stress, anxiety and the incorrect results - this is the place for you!

recently had a hormone blood test done…

recently had a hormone blood test done by them, they got my date of birth wrong; 1990 instead of 1970. Obviously the values between a 23 year old woman and a 53 year old are completely different. I have chased for a resolution with none forthcoming. I find the error unprofessional and undermines any confidence in their capabilities to supply accurate blood tests.

Customer care so bad that I can only assume that they are dishonest

As with other contributors, if there was a less than one star then that is what I would award. There is literally no way of contacting them. Tried to return unused LFT test. Tried to email many times but no response. If as anther contributor said, they have ceased trading then all I can say is good - I may have lost a few £ but at least others will not be ripped of.

If there was a less than one star this…

If there was a less than one star this is what I would award. Tried to return unused LFT tests x 2. After several emails their reply said they had ceased trading & apologised for any inconvenience this might cause. Good job I found out ahead of when I actually needed to do the tests.
But they are still advertising. Fraudsters? At best incompetents. I want my £24 back!

We have been trying for the last 2…

We have been trying for the last 2 hours to scan the test and it doesn't work. it says there is an error, we bought and went quickly to collect another one as we are flying tomorrow morning and also gives error in my husband's phone. I am now trying to add my daughter to my profile and also not working, it is certainly an issue with the app as I had used before and know the process. It is terrible that service is not reliable. I will have to pay a fortune for an express test at the airport. Hopefully I will make it in time.

It was easy to order & pick up my tests…

It was easy to order & pick up my tests at £11 each. did the test the day before we flew , both negative. Using the phone app we took photos & sent it, within the hour the certificate was 8in my inbox, so easy. I only gave 3 stars as there are many people who are having problems with this company but it's a lot better then "Chronomics" who took 6 months to give me my refund of £50.00. Don't give up, keep emailing them & keep adding to your Trustpilot review, I went to Trtading Standards who took up my case.

RT-pcr test done at eastmidlands…

RT-pcr test done at eastmidlands airport, came back positive high readings of covid, paid for extra rapid test the next day an extra £80, hey presto in less than 18 hours the test is negative, the fit to fly tests were totally useless , we did the tests as required after 9pm the day before flying, scanned the negative tests over to Randox scan was confirmed test certificate did not come through, at the airport next morning 21 people on our flight had not received their certificates, so had to pay £100 at Birmingham airport for another test, express test were brilliant just managed to get on our flight for a cruise.
its about time these people were held accountable, is nobody overseeing how these people work , no accountability !!

DO NOT USE RANDOX!!

Whatever you do for travel Fit to Fly test DO NOT USE Randox!!
I repeat - do not use this company.
I almost wasn’t able to fly because of their test being faulty!
I bought from this company in good faith - two separate recommendations.
I ordered a Fit to Fly Lat Flow test to be taken within 24 hours of flight arrival.
I followed instructions to the letter.
The test was defunct! I know this for sure as I took a non travel Lat Flow test at the same time which came out negative.

This resulted in me having to book a last minute test at the airport with Express Test who were brilliant. But, I had to pay more and on top of what I’d already paid Randox.

I have sent several emails to the company requesting a refund for the defunct test and reimbursement of the extra testing I then had to do at the last minute because their test were faulty.

They are not responding to my requests.

UPDATE 9/5/22 - I've had no response from Randox so, please don't use this company for your Fit to Fly Tests. They have no integrity and will not respond to your messages if you've taken the test and it was a dud. I'm looking to take further action against them to make sure no-one else goes through this experience.

UPDATE 17/5/22 - Still no response from Randox. I am now reporting them to Trading Standards and will get them involved. I'm determined to make sure no-one else is duped by this company.

Utterly appalling company

Utterly appalling company. Customer service is none existent, they just hide behind emails. If you call them they then ask you to send an email, but only 1 as this could delay their response !!!!!
Six weeks later still no resolution.
I recovered my money via the credit card company I booked with. I would strongly advise you to choose an alternative company.

Back in December 2021 ordered test kits which subsequently had to cancel due to change to travel regulations. Cancelled within 14 day period which Randox specified for getting a refund.
After many phone calls and emails I finally got my refund April 20. 2022.
This company do not deserve your consideration or money. AVOID

Terrible customer service

My order didn’t arrive and I have a flight tomorrow that requires a test. I called their customer service and after waiting 4 minutes listening to recorded announcements finally spoke to an agent that was of no help. All of his answers were “go to the website, fill the contact us form” what is the point of phone support if the agent has no knowledge or autonomy to provide meaningful support or take action?

No Refund - Not Impressed

Great first experience of using Randox in June 2020. Used again without a second thought.

Not so great second experience. Have been waiting for a refund since 08 January 2021. We bought the tests and a couple of days later the requirements changed. I received the auto reply saying someone would be in touch and no one ever has. Email below. I’ve chased twice since.

“Thank you for contacting us.

Due to the unscheduled announcement, we are experiencing an unprecedented volume of enquiries. We are working extremely hard to respond to everyone and thank you for your patience.

If you are awaiting a refund, this will be dealt with in due course and we would kindly ask that you do not send multiple requests.

If you require a Day 2 PCR test to replace a Day 2 lateral flow test we would encourage you to place a new order as soon as possible. Please note we cannot exchange lateral flow tests for PCR day 2 tests.

Kind regards”

Crooks

I bought a PCR test for a holiday in January that I ended up not needing. I filled out the online refund form to get money back. Never heard anything. I contacted them again but still nothing. On my final attempt I got a response from them asking me to provide my email asking for a refund despite the company telling people to fill an online form fir a refund. I pointed this out to them and that I had had a standard email back at that time saying that if I was requesting a refund I needed to wait. I was told that as I hadn't sent an email I could have a refund although I'd filled their form out. Absolute crooks.

booked x4 pretravel PCR tests and then holiday was cancelled by company; so i cancelled my PCR tests , got a cancellation number from Randox, emailed as per their letter .. nothing ..
that's over £300 of my money stolen and NO refund .. now 4 months later ..!
its disgraceful.
