Ordered on 12/28 and still not shipped yet. No way to call and get someone on the phone for status or to request a refund. Absolutely do not recommend this company. They appear to be scam artists.
The delivery took months, and the delay was detrimental to my plantings for sure.
My last order was 4 sets of seeded pods.
After waiting for over 2 weeks with no pods delivered, I inquired, then received 2 sets. The other 2 sets have never arrived.
I am disappointed on how the subscription is handled. Rise Garden doesn't "prepare" in advance the seeds you selected so when your delivery time arrives, it might be out of order and then the deliverey is delayed. The communitcation is not always there and for me it happens that one full order and half the other was not delivered. And this on only 4 delivery per year. No refund and if you cancel your subscription they won't honor the missing delivery. It is not fair as when I pay my subscription it is like a contract, 4 delivery of products and cancelling my subscription for the next year should not affect it.
Orders are not shipped unless customer service is contacted.
I am still waiting for Siam tomato pods from my original order on October 12, 2025 and never received my order from November 2, 2025. I would love to receive the items I ordered and paid for! Or at least be refunded for the items.

I have had my 2 level Rise Garden for about a year. The garden arrived promptly with only one defect, a bad door magnet. The initial seeds and supplies were fine. The tomatoes were especially great. We thoroughly enjoyed the varieties of lettuce and reorders of seeds and supplies were fine until last summer (2025). In the fall, seeds and supplies began to be delayed and one 12 pack of Paris cos lettuce seems to be completely failing to germinate. Now nutrients, after long waits, are no longer labeled. The website continues to offer seeds and supplies that, according to customer service emails, are unavailable/back ordered, with no notice. The wait for seeds and supplies can be over a month with no estimate of a ship date. Thank goodness my garden is still functioning, but I have no confidence in its future. I notice that, for the most part, on these reviews the active Rise customer service responses seem to slow or disappear in the summer of 2025. It would be a great service if unavailable items on the website could be clearly marked as on back order. Even better, how about a transparent statement on the site about the source of the problems. Please trust your existing customers to want to continue gardening.
I started out loving my garden, but this has soon turned to frustration. My motor burnt out after expanding to a third level, and I was supposed to get a replacement motor on warranty. After months, I still have not received the motor, and customer support is unresponsive. I essentially now have an expensive shelf.
Never received my order after 3 months on back order. I’ll never order from rise again. Also the hydroponic garden is poorly made. The pump it comes with is way too small and water gets algae and moldy after 2 weeks. None of my plants have made it to harvest. I’ve tried about 15 plants. I do not recommend. Especially for the price.
Very happy with our Rise Garden! Even though a piece arrived damaged initially, they were quick to help with a replacement. It's now a beautiful addition to our kitchen.
Initial seeds did great, but subsequent seeds performed poorly. Slow growth, high failure rate and low maturity.
I paid for an annual subscription, but only received a partial September shipment. Customer service replied to use whatever nutrients I have and if necessary that the plant will grow in just water. If that's so, why bother buying more nutrients? Obviously their advice is faulty. Not sure if I will receive my December shipment. They seem to be more intent on selling new gardens than supporting their current customers.
I have cancelled my subscription/account and will look to other hydroponic nutrient suppliers to try to continue my garden.
I absolutely am in love with my garden! It's so easy to use and set up. It's sturdy and well made. I've had it for several years now. I had an issue with the electronics this year and the company replaced my components, no charge. I will definitely recommend to others!
We still haven't received the Galaxy peppers we ordered in September. I appreciate that the strawberries were sent separately at my request 2 months ago, but it's been 3 months waiting on the rest of our order. 😔
Support was fantastic once I was able to do a live chat with the representative. Responsive to my issue was pretty much immediate. Great job Risegardens-- I thank you very much/
disappointing experience to say the least. never got the shipment update and it almost felt like that they forgot my order and their pricing is not really suitable for the buyers considering the values they offering.
This has been a truly awful experience, roughly 2 months ago I purchased the garden new. It came to me with two cabinet doors that the woodgrain didn’t match. One of the doors would not shut the magnetic latches were I asked them to send me the entire unit and I would send this one back. They would not do that. They told me that the door doors wouldn’t be delivered for at least two weeks. It’s now been two months. I’ve sent five emails to the support email and still no response whatsoever. Also the metal posts came without threads for the screws. They said they would send me replacements and they never did so. I bought a tap and die set to thread them myself horrible experience I would never buy from this company again.
I am enjoying my rise garden and be able to plant in my apartment. the company is great as well and they offer a lot of support and the facebook official rise garden group share a lot of knowledge and resources.
You guys are a complete joke I lost track of how long it has taken you to fulfill the multiple orders of blossom plant food that I ordered. You also never updated your site to label the food as out of stock and allowed people to continue to order without any explanation. Your customer service takes days to respond and all you say is it's not our fault sorry.. What a joke.
