As a new business owner, I tried to obtain a guarantee for my commercial lease through my VR Bank via R+V. The process was extremely frustrating and confusing.
At first, my application was rejected, supposedly due to creditworthiness issues. In reality, I was not even listed with Creditreform. After contacting them, an entry was created for me. Shortly after, I received a second rejection, again citing negative credit, but without any detailed explanation. Only after following up directly with Creditreform did I learn that they do not provide scoring for startups.
Throughout the process, information from employees was contradictory and vague. It felt like the staff were simply passing documents back and forth, without providing clarity or guidance. I waited over three weeks for a decision that could have been avoided with transparent communication.
Startups deserve clear, accurate information from the beginning, so they can explore alternatives in time.

I have a health insurance here.
Positives:
- I get fast appointments with Doctors when they know I am privately insured.
- I never had any issues finding a Doctor with this health insurance.
Negatives:
- I have to pay all the doctor bills from my own pocket.
- They only reimburse you doctor bill costs if you exceed a certain limit per year, so if you do not exceed this limit, they don´t reimburse you your bills.
- I have been paying a lot for this health insurance, yet did not visit so many doctors (on average 2-3 doctors a year only for general checkups) this means a loss of tons of money since its very expensive.
- Their customer service is very bad- I have sent them 2-3 emails to ask for details about certain policies and they never got back to me.
- They have support only in German, so for internationals would be very difficult to communicate especially with German medical terms.
- It gets more and more expensive each year, as you grow older, so as a healthy 28 year old, I pay around 600 euros a month!

Worst support ever.

The online support is worthless, no actual responses to any of my specific questions, most just receive an automated reply, with the option of responding to the automated reply if it did not help, but that just results in another automated reply.
As others have said, calling the hotline won't help with anything other than an accident.
I've cancelled as of 1/5/22 (the only thing good about the policy - monthly cancellation), hopefully I'll get my outstanding money back. If not, what can I do, since I know I can't contact anyone that will actually look at the issue, it's all just automated replies. I don't think anyone actually works there.
I got all the way through application 2 and it's refreshed it self I'm not doing it a 3rd time get get f**ked
Needed to register a used car again, therefore needed the insurance. Working over the contract center worked out fine; fast and easy, quite cheap in the end.
Easy for people who are used to work in the internet on their own. People that want to get personally consulted should choose another insurance.
